Bruno Mars is bringing his 24K Magic World Tour to the UK including a huge show in Manchester.

The Uptown Funk singer will play at Manchester Arena next May during a 10-date string of gigs around the country.

The tour celebrates the star's hotly-anticipated new album, 24K Magic, released on November 18, featuring the hit title track that reached number 5 in the UK singles chart.

It will be his first full-length tour since 2013’s smash hit Moonshine Jungle World Tour, which sold two million tickets worldwide across 155 sold-out dates.

Two Manchester shows take place on May 2-3, 2017, at Manchester Arena. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster .

I spent $256 on a ticket and flew from Florida to Las Vegas to see this fiasco of a show. The show was supposed to start at 9. The curtain finally rose at almost 9:30. The drums and bass were so loud, little of the vocals could be heard. The band was off several times, there was limited choreography, 2 solos (drum and piano, neither of which were Bruno, OBVIOUS TIME FILLERS), and the show lasted one hour and 15 minutes. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!!!! IT SUCKED!! I am used to hearing songs sung at concerts, not stopped mid-way to laugh and joke. Bruno Mars needs to go to some REAL concerts so he can see how to please his PAYING AUDIENCE. Go get some lessons from Pink, Elton John, who ever, Bruno, cause your show is a joke!!

The Bruno Mars concert was amazing! The only fault that I would say is that there was a lot of waiting Dua Lipa was right on time and it felt like when’s Bruno coming?! Then after Dua Lipa we had to wait for them to set Bruno up which felt like forever, but when he was out there it was amazing he had fireworks and amazing dance moves and his singing was just amazing. He even added some comedy in there, and he was putting his absolute all you could see by the sweat on his body. After we thought it was over but he surprised us with an extra song :) it was an experience of a lifetime and I must say for my first concert it was A M A Z I N G ! For the merchandise I feel some of it was just a bit overpriced like the hats.

It was awesome!!!!!

Bebe Rexha was there and Nick Jonas and who we were all waiting for BRUNO MARSSSS!!!

I was soooo happy when Nick Jonas sang one of his songs from Camp Rock!!!!

Bebe Rexha sang Me, Myself, and I, I love that song!!! I just think it wasn’t necessary to say some bad words while she spoke, but thats ok because it’s BEBE REXHA!!!

Bruno Mars was I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!!!!

He sang all of my favorite songssss and ne sang UPTOWN FUNK!!!! AWESOME!!!!

Overall, it was the best concert of my life, even though we could have been in better seats, and I even got a souvenir t-shirt!!!!

The 24K Magic World Tour celebrates Mars’ eagerly anticipated new album, 24K Magic set to arrive worldwide on Friday, November 18 on Atlantic Records. The famous American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars was born as Peter Gene Hernandez in Honolulu, Hawaii. He experienced the Music culture very soon, thanks to his family. Each one was a musician. He began his career by impersonating Elvis Presley, nudged by his uncle.  Short time after moving on Los Angeles at the age of 17, he signed with Motown Records. But this deal went nowhere and less than a year after, the label gave up on him. The beginning was very tough for the young artist. He was dropped by his first label, he spent few other years to find a record company, he performed covers across LA with his brother and a friend to earn his life. His real career

Despite all that, Bruno Mars was supported by high calibre individuals of the musical industry: Philip Lawrence, songwriter and producer, Steve Lindsey, record producer, songwriter music publisher and music industry executive, and Keith Harris, drummer for the Black Eyed Peas. Lindsey became a mentor for the artist. He showed him what a hit pop music is and how to hone his craft. Lawrence and Harris wrote songs for him and looked for labels. After a while, Bruno Mars started to work with Lawrence as a music producer and songwriter.

In 2006, he finally met Aaron Bay-Shuck from Atlantic Records with whom he signed up under this label 3 years later. Before being recognised as a great solo artist, Mars wrote songs for plenty of artists, such as Travie McCoy, Adam Levine, Flo Rida,… He finally released his debut album studio, ‘Doo-Wops & Hooligans’, in 2010, which reached the first rank on the Billboard Hot 100. Bruno Mars' 24K Magic World Tour is currently under way and he is heading for the O2 Arena this April.

The pop superstar will play a total of four shows in London on April 18 and April 19 as well as April 21 to April 22.

Originally the US artist announced two shows at the capital's venue but this was extended to four due to huge demand when they went on sale.

The acclaimed stage performer will bring the biggest hits from his three studio albums to the UK for 14 dates kicking off in April.

The artist recently returned with his third studio album "24K Magic" which featured the platinum selling lead single of the same name.

His latest album saw him move away from the funk-pop of debut "Doo Wops & Hooligans" and its follow-up, instead the record explores a hip-hop soul sound.

However the music is still as energetic as ever and proved successful for Mars who reached the number one spot in the US and became certified gold in the UK within weeks.

In total Bruno Mars has sold 100 million records since 2010 when he first came to prominence in the public eye.

His first two albums are multi-platinum sellers in the UK and he has sold out arenas across the globe including the O2 in 2013 when he last visited the UK for a headline tour.

Are tickets still available?

Currently the best available tickets are VIP packages which are a little higher than standard prices.

They start from around £252.75 on Ticketmaster here , but keep an eye out on @Ticketmaster and @TheO2 on Twitter the week on the day of the gigs.

The arena frequently releases last minute standard seating and standing tickets for fans. They'll be released on Ticketmaster and Eventim .

Who's the support act?

The support act across the European leg of his tour will be Anderson .Paak, who was recently nominated for "Best New Artist" at the Grammys.

The funk and hip-hop artist is commonly joined by his band The Free Nationals, who will perform alongside him at his only UK headline show of 2017 at O2 Forum Kentish Town .

Who is Bruno Mars?

Peter Gene Hernandez, known professionally as  Bruno Mars , is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, and dancer. Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Mars moved to Los Angeles in 2003 to pursue a musical career.

After being dropped by Motown Records , Mars signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records in 2009. In the same year, he co-founded the production team The Smeezingtons, responsible for various successful singles for Mars himself and other artists. In 2016, Shampoo Press & Curl replaced The Smeezingtons on the composition of Mars' third studio album,  24K Magic .

Mars’ 2016  24K Magic  won the Grammy for “Album Of The Year” over Kendrick Lamar’s uber-cred  DAMN . He erupted in Melbourne with Brunomania on the first night of his blockbuster 24K Magic World Tour Aussie run in March 2018. It was the first of four sold-out shows and sceptics were suitably converted afterward.

Bruno Mars tickets will be one of the highlights of the 2017 concert schedule as the tour gets started in Europe in March before hitting its stride across major US arenas during summer. He’s also celebrating New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas at T-Mobile Arena, where his North American tour will start in July.

Bruno Mars was born and raised in Hawaii, and he quickly gained local recognition as one of the most talented young performers and entertainers on the island of Oahu. While growing up in Honolulu, Bruno Mars was surrounded by music, as his family was full of performers. The Mars family performed regularly at Waikiki Beach, where they showcased everything from doo-wop hits to celebrity impersonations. Bruno was just four years old when joined the family show as an Elvis impersonator, and he has loved the stage ever since. After becoming one of the main highlights of his family's show, Bruno Mars spent years honing his vocal skills and his songwriting skills, and eventually he decided to move to Los Angeles in order to kick-start his career as a recording artist.

For the first few years, he lived in Los Angeles, Bruno Mars had difficulty breaking into the music scene. Eventually, Mars gained attention as a songwriter, and he got his foot writing songs for artists like Flo Rida, Travie McCoy and Brandy. Soon enough, he had put together an impressive resume, and he was ready to break out as a singer.

In 2010, Mars released his debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans , which featured charting hits like "Grenade" and "Just the Way You Are." Suddenly, he was regarded as one of the breakthrough artists of the year, and his career was just getting started. Since then the singer has proved ever more successful with tracks such as "Locked Out of Heaven" and "Funktown Magic", to name just a few!

For the past several years, Bruno Mars has been one of the most dominating artists on the music scene. His songwriting skills are formidable, and his live performing abilities have made him a household name that crosses generations.
