Both tracks have already experienced massive success, soaring to the #1 and #2 spots on the overall iTunes chart in the U.S, Top 5 on iTunes in 50 countries, and holding the #1 and #2 spots on Spotify’s “New Music Friday” playlist. The newly released third song off of the album, “Youth” featuring Khalid has already reached #1 on iTunes in the US. Additional yet-to-be-released tracks on the album include "Fallin' All In You" (co-written by Ed Sheeran), “Particular Taste” (co-written by Ryan Tedder), and "Like To Be You” featuring Julia Michaels who co-wrote the song; the song also features a guitar solo from John Mayer, who produced the track.

Shawn Mendes' 2019 tour dates will be supported by Alessia Cara

shawn-mendes-2018-press-1100.jpg

The UK leg of Shawn Mendes' self-titled world tour is underway, and fellow Canadian Alessia Cara is joining him as the support act.

Alessia will open for Shawn on all of his UK, Europe and US dates, which includes three nights at London's O2 arena.

She's a star in her own right already, with two Top 10 singles in the UK as well as a Top 20 album with her debut release Know-It-All. This isn't her first foray into huge arena tours either - she supported Coldplay in Europe in 2016.

Her new music video for Out Of Love was released just last week - if you've got tickets make sure to check it out:

Zac Brown Band Announce 2019 Tour Dates, Share New Song

By Jeff Gage

Zac Brown Band return with a surging new crossover single “Someone I Used to Know,” which arrives as a new slate of 2019 tour dates are added to the band’s itinerary.

The Georgia group’s first new single in over a year, “Someone I Used to Know” looks back in the band’s catalog to the pop-EDM stylings of 2015’s Jekyll + Hyde , territory that has more recently been devoted to Brown’s experimental side project, Sir Rosevelt . Its lush instrumentation, echo-heavy production, and finger-snapping chorus bear the influence of its co-writer, Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes , with whom Zac Brown Band collaborated on a recent episode of CMT Crossroads .

Mendes, who scored his third-straight Number One LP on the Billboard 200 earlier this year with Shawn Mendes , sang the praises of Zac Brown Band after they’d filmed their Crossroads episode together. “We kind of created this bit of fusion — country, pop-rock, and it’s very cool. In places where I usually wouldn’t stand for a second and jam out, I get to do that now. That’s something I always want to do, but sometimes don’t,” the singer told Rolling Stone last month.

In conjunction with the release of “Someone I Used to Know” — the band will give the song its television debut tonight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — Zac Brown Band have extended their recent Down the Rabbit Hole Live Tour into 2019, adding 15 new dates in March and April.

The full list of Zac Brown Band’s Down the Rabbit Hole Live Tour 2019 appearances:

March 1 — Tulsa, OK @ BOK Center March 9 — New Orleans, LA @ Smoothie King Center March 10 — Orange Beach, AL @ The Amphitheater at the Wharf March 15 — Phoenix, AZ @ Ak-Chin Pavilion March 16 — Laughlin, NV @ Laughlin Events Center March 28 — Nashville, TN @ Bridgestone Arena March 29 — Brandon, MS @ Brandon Amphitheater March 30 — Memphis, TN @ FedEx Forum April 11 — Evans, GA @ Evans Towne Center Park April 12 — Virginia Beach, VA @ Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater April 13 — Raleigh, NC @ Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre April 14 — Charlotte, NC @ PNC Music Pavilion April 25 — Tuscaloosa, AL @ Tuscaloosa Amphitheater April 26 — Maryland Heights, MO @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre April 27 — Peoria, IL @ Peoria Civic Center

See Noah Kahan Bring Out Shawn Mendes for ‘Stick Season' at Toronto Concert

Noah Kahan has spent the past few weeks popping up as a surprise guest at other artists' concerts, and on Saturday the situation was flipped at Kahan's Toronto gig as the singer welcomed Shawn Mendes onstage to join him on "Stick Season."

"I've been watching this young man's career for a long time, and in a lot of ways he's been a North Star for me. When I first got signed, he was still the guy I looked up to a lot," Kahan said in introducing Mendes onstage.

"I appreciate his music so much, but also who he is as a person. His honesty emotionally , what he presents himself and his journey in music is really relatable and I think it takes a lot of bravery to admit that sometimes things can be hard as a musician and I was really moved by this artist for a long time. He's a wonderful person, he's from right here in Toronto."

The two singers then delivered a joint rendition of "Stick Season," one of the increasingly rare live appearances by Mendes since he canceled his 2022 world tour to focus on his mental health; while Mendes hasn't staged one of his own concerts since June 2022, he's cameoed with Ed Sheeran during that artist's Toronto gig in June 2023.

Kahan is no stranger to surprise pop-ins as the singer-songwriter has made unannounced appearances to perform "She Calls Me Back" with Kacey Musgraves in Nashville and, on Friday night, "Stick Season" with Olivia Rodrigo at Madison Square Garden. (Kahan also performed his hit single during a recent visit to Sesame Street .)
