I consider myself very lucky because during my sporting career I had the occasion of “being aboard the Boat” with legendary Italian rowers like Alberto Belgeri, Igor Pescialli, Enrico Gandola, Daniele Gilardoni, Franco Sancassani, Michelangelo Crispi,Francesco “Ciccio Esposito”, Stefano Fraquelli, Edoardo Verzotti e Stefano Introzzi”. Around one hour and an half kayaking tour on Lake Como from Pescallo di Bellagio beach through Pescallo bay along the Rockefeller cliffs and the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni.

During the adventure, a guide will properly prepare you prior to departure and ensure maximum safety conditions.

This tour will be held with assistance of professional rowing guide.

From Pescallo di Bellagio beach through Pescallo bay along the Rockefeller cliffs and the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni. There will also be a small surprise break along the route. Guide will properly prepare you prior to departure and ensure maximum safety conditions. You will see the sights from the water and enjoy the fantastic views of the countryside and area from your own kayak.

In case of one or both participants using a SUP board: A crash course to SUP basic principles will be held before leaving for coast route. You’ll be instructed about theory and basic movements. Our guide is Paddlefit Level 2 Certified.

Upon request along the Pescallo coast route option a short swimming break if needed, is available

Tour lasts: variable duration as of chosen modalities.

Ideal service for “Team Building” management can be requested for a maximum of 30 participants, divided in two 15 persons groups.

Peaceful Tour With Scenic Views

What a great way to kick off a day of exploration. We took off from Pescallo's beach on a warm Fall morning and kayaked around the Bellagio peninsula. Michele is an exceptional guide, both friendly and knowledgeable about his hometown/region. He came ready to share his affinity for prosecco with us and even snapped a few photos for us as we kayaked around. Beautiful scenery, great company. My wife and I loved this tour.

Great way to enjoy the lake

Michele was an excellent guide and really gave us a perfect way to enjoy the morning on the lake. Views were gorgeous and can only be experienced from the water.

Perfect escape onto the lake

Was very sceptical as I'm not a water fan but loved this tour. Michele our guide is local and was very accommodating when we had a last minute change of plans. We hired two double kayaks with our 11 and 12 year olds and were on the water for approximately 1hr 30mins. We were very lucky with the weather too. Perfect conditions on lake too, calm waters and no wind!

Very unique experience!

My sisters and brother-in-law had a very fun morning with Michele kayaking on the lake. The water was pretty choppy that specific morning so he had to cut the tour slightly short for safety reasons, which was understandable. He was very friendly and took the time to get to know each of us a little; where we were from, what we did for work, and how our vacation was going. He also was very knowledgeable of the area and stopped often to tell us about things in the area and the history behind things. Michele also had a little surprise for each of us at the end which was a nice touch. Some tips: I would definitely wear water shoes or flip flops of some sort unless you don’t care to get your tennis shoes wet. We ended up taking our shoes and socks off completely and getting in the kayak barefoot. You do have to step in a little bit of water to get in and out of the kayaks. We also got slightly wet just from using the paddles in the water. Anything you don’t want to take, Michele will lock up for you and he also provides small wet bags. All in all, it was a very cool experience with great views. Would definitely do again if I had the chance!

Gorgeous morning on the lake

We did the kayak tour around the Bellagio point on a calm, sunny morning. It was just glorious - experiencing the lake from on the water. We saw kingfishers flitting around the water. Recommended.

Our local expert, Michele Gandola, comes from sporting experience practiced in professional rowing, He operated as sporting director at Bellagio Rowing club and He is still official trainer at same club. We are Paddlefit certified and we are able to give first basic principles in order to use SUP Stand Up Paddle boards.

Latecomers will not be admitted to the tour

During this unique 1.5-hour kayak tour we will explore the enchanting coast surrounding Bellagio. 

The tour shall leave from Pescallo, a small location a short walk from the center of Bellagio.  Pescallo and the coast of the eastern branch of the lake are less crowded areas but offer a lot of interesting and marvelous naturalistic spots .

Guided by an expert, you shall kayak either north towards Punta Spartivento or south towards Oliveto Lario and the Limonta bay harbour.

During the tour we will kayak by noble villas paddling in front of the stunning Rockfeller Foundation park and the luxurious Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni, an ideal spot on the water where to relax some minutes before heading back to Pescallo.

What should I bring and know?

• Bring a Water Bottle , alternatively you can purchase one near the meeting point ​
• Wear comfortable walking shoes and clothes 
• Sun hat and sun screen are strongly recommended in summer months
• Sports & quick dry clothes/sandals  are highly suggested
• Good swimming skills are required
• The tour runs rain or shine. ​ In case of heavy rains or strong wind, under the guide’s decision the activity may be cancelled or rescheduled or replaced.
• While in Italy you should always carry an ID card with you. When taking a boat tour in particular,  at least one person in the group must carry his/her passport or ID  or a copy or a picture. If failing this requirement, boarding might be denied
• Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking

What is your cancellation policy?

• SHARED TOURS: full payment within 15 days before tour date. Full refund until 72 hours before departure time.
• PRIVATE TOURS: 10% non-refundable service fee at confirmation. 90% payment 15 days before tour. Full refund (excluding service fee) until 15 days prior to tour/itinerary start. No refund thereafter.
• No refunds if you do not turn up for the tour (no-show) (our tours start promptly, the guide shall not be able to linger)
• ​If you need to reschedule your booked tour we will do our best to accommodate your request . Please contact us directly by  email . In case we cannot meet your needs and you decide to cancel, no refund shall be given for tours that are cancelled with less than 72 hours notice in case of shared tours and 15 days in case of private tours. 
• Tours and activities take place rain or shine. If one of our suppliers cancels (i.e. boat), we will do our best to propose an alternative solution. Full refunds will not be guaranteed in case the alternative is not accepted, as some services (i.e. guide, car) might still be due remuneration.
• Some tours may require a fixed deposit in order to purchase tickets in advance. We will let you know case by case once we receive your request.

How to rent a kayak.

Kayak rental service is available 7 days a week from 9 am to 7 pm upon availability and reservation .

The rental fleet consists of single, double, and triple Kayaks that can accommodate two adults and one child. The single Kayaks are equipped with watertight lockers for carrying objects and ergonomic seats to increase the comfort and efficiency of paddling. The Kayaks for two/three people have a large compartment at the stern to store the personal effects of the whole family inside the waterproof bags that we provide as equipment.
