We spent only one night on Paradise Grand and really enjoyed so many things the cruise offered. The rooms were amazing, mine even had a terrace with comfy chairs. I also enjoyed Vietnamese cuisines, caving, kayaking,... The staff really kept in mind our dietary requirements and served delicious meals. Thanks for your thoughtfulness and hospitality. Lan Ha Bay was tranquil and amazing, especially Viet Hai Village. Drinks turned out to be quite pricey though. Even with the happy hour, we still had to pay a lot for beverages.

Wonderful experiences with Paradise Grand! Positive: The ship was new and well maintained with exquisite facilities! The staff had great optimistic energies and were always very attentive and kind. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Negative: drinks were costly to me and wifi was so weak that I could not access google.

A lovely cruise! Food and drinks were diverse and tasted great! One thing was that dinner was a little bit greasy and too sweet for me. The cruise staff took great care of my requests and catered well to my vegetarian diet, thanks so much! Activities were nice despite the rainy weather. Would recommend visiting in the dry season as we could not watch the sunrise due to the fog and cloud.

The boat was elegant and modern. I would highly recommend this cruise for anyone seeking a luxury cruise. The manager as well as the whole crew were very nice and passionate. They even surprised me with a birthday cake and decorations in my own cabin. This was very special, I truly appreciated it! Amenities were awesome and a visit to Ao Ech was absolutely the highlight of the excursions. Everything was perfect!

We were 2 families of 2 children each. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and it was cleaned daily, which made me feel really pleased. The chef was very talented and the services were nice. They catered well to our vegetarian requests and kids’ meals. Everyone should definitely visit Halong Bay once, it offers stunning seascapes and fascinating activities. Would really suggest a 2-night cruise for a memorable and pleasant vacation!

I am a solo traveler and I’m so pleased that I chose Paradise Grand. The cruise had the perfect crew, from security to services. The views were spectacular and I had a very beautiful clean room! The night party was so fun and it was a great opportunity for me to socialize and make new friends. Thanks all the staff for making me feel welcomed on board. The food was also amazing and very balanced.

Paradise Grand Cruise was a truly luxurious one and I highly recommend it! From the activities, services, ambiance, to the whole crew, everything was above our expectations. The staff took great care of our requests; our kids were small and they had so much fun and the kids’ portions were delicious and suitable. The bays were breathtaking too. We definitely will come back one day!

The boat was beautiful, the staff were so lovely, the food was delicious and plentiful (my vegetarian other half had enough for like 3 people when they brought out some specially prepared courses!) and the views and trips were amazing. 100% coming back for a time when the weather isn't quite so torrential and would recommend doing 2 nights if you can. I participated in a day trip to Halong Bay before, but I highly recommend the one-night, two-day cruise. You have plenty of time to relax and enjoy various landscapes. Even families with small children can participate without any problems. My elementary school-aged child had no issues with physical activities such as mountain climbing or cave exploration, but there may be some activities that are a bit difficult for preschoolers (waiting is possible).

First of all the Halong Bay views were top of the world. Our room was very nice, with a balcony. The staff were exceptionally good and helpful. The food was outstanding and there were a lot of choices. They also organised a number of activities including visit to a large cave, kayaking, a pearl farm visit, live music, beach visit etc. Overall a tremendous experience and worth all the money spent.

Cruise Itineraries

8:00 - 8:30 : A limousine or a shuttle service with a surcharge will wait for you at your hotel around Hanoi Old Quarter. Moreover, you can move to the meeting point at 52 Le Dai Hanh Street, Hai Ba Trung District.

11:30 - 12:00 : After 2.5 hours transfer, please check-in at Paradise Comfort Hotel, Danang Block - Tuan Chau Island. You will then be transferred to Paradise Grand via speedboat. A short briefing about your cruise will be provided while you enjoy a welcome drink aboard the Paradise Grand.

Set lunch will be served in the La Espacia Restaurant as Paradise Grand cruises through the captivating islands and islets of Lan Ha Bay .

In the afternoon, let's start a visit to Viet Hai Village , where you can cycle through tropical greenery, call on ancient houses, explore the fishing lake, and experience an amazing foot massage. 

NOTE : For those who are not into activities, there are electric cart services instead of biking.

As sundown approaches, Paradise Grand will anchor overnight. It's the perfect time for Happy Hour - Buy 1 Get 1 Drink from 17:30 to 18:30 and Canapes in the Piano Lounge or on the Sundeck (subject to weather conditions).

After dinner in La Espacia Restaurant, you are free to enjoy drinks (excluded from cruise price) at the Piano Lounge, try squid fishing at the back of the boat, or catch a movie.

Live music performance takes place for 45 minutes, except on Mondays

Welcome your second day aboard Paradise Grand with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises. Re-energize with a light breakfast, freshly baked pastries, coffee, and tea in the restaurant.

However, because the cruise ship has many cabins, the area of each room may be smaller than other rooms on the Lan Ha Bay route, especially the top-class one.

• Providing express boats that are considered to have the most ample space on the bay
• A large jacuzzi on a high platform is the highlighted equipment on a classy 5-star ship.
• Paradise promotes luxury with private space in its facilities: Design restaurant groups of small tables with 2 outer rows and 1 long table row for large groups in the middle, separated by partitions displaying ceramic flowers, and the Piano lounge also equips partitions. 
• The cabins are excellently soundproofed, and each room is spacious enough for a comfortable stay. 
• Captain Terrace Suite divides the cubby and bathtub area, and two sinks in the bathroom so you and your teammates have private space when living.
• An ideal sundeck for a comprehensive view toward the bay and taking deep breaths in early morning Tai Chi class 
• The size of Captain Terrace is smaller than other top-class cabins on 5-star cruise ships, and the bathtub inside does not have a Jacuzzi system.
• Unfortunately, the limousine that took us to Ha Long Bay could not use the charger, but the limousine back to Hanoi was better.

• The food in the buffet stays warm for a long time for guests who dine late.
• The big group can order a private menu before taking the trip. 
• The fine-dining European set dinner is full and impressively decorated.
• Must-try food : Stir-fried vegetarian vermicelli, Stir-fried clams with mixed vegetables, Fillet of Australian beef served with grilled vegetables and cabernet sauvignon essence.
• Less choice if compared with buffet on other cruises the same route.
• Some main Western dishes like Lobster and crème Brulee are a bit salty or sweets for the majority taste.

We have just returned from a fantastic three-day, two-night trip on the Paradise Grand at Lan Ha Bay. The organization was great from beginning to end. The boat was immaculate, the personnel was really helpful and couldn't do enough to make sure you had a great time, the cuisine was excellent, and the excursions were very well planned. The cruise depart everyday from Halong but can addon the transfer from / to Hanoi. Boat leaving pier between Noon and arrive next day about 10:00 - 10:30 AM.

Cruise itinerary

Board cruise at 12:00pm. As you get on board, get a welcome drink and listen to cruise manager's briefing about the itinerary as well as safety instructions. Lunch will be served as the cruise passes by major Halong highlights such as Hoa Cuong fishing village, Soi Sim beach. The first stop of the day is Tung Sau Pearl Farm. You can choose to kayak around the area or take a quick tour around the farm to learn how a pearl is made. Later, the cruise proceeds to Titop Island where you can hike to watch a panoramic view of Halong Bay or swim and sunbathe on the beach. Back to Paradise Peak. At Sunset time, the Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1 drink fee) and a cooking demonstration will take place. 

Dinner is served at 19:00. Free evening where you can enjoy movie night, squid fishing, or beauty spa services.

Early risers can head straight to sundeck for a Taichi lesson while inhaling the beauty of Halong. Hurricane Beryl disrupts cruise ships scheduled to depart from Port Tampa Bay

H urricane Beryl threatens to ruin vacationers’ plans for smooth sailing aboard cruise ships slated to depart from Port Tampa Bay. Cruise line meteorologists are actively monitoring conditions in the Caribbean and making itinerary adjustments, but the situation is fluid.

Throughout the week, four cruise ships are scheduled to leave from the port: Margaritaville at Sea “Islander,” Carnival “Paradise,” Royal Caribbean International “Enchantment of the Seas,” and Royal Caribbean International “Grandeur of the Seas.”

This morning, the monstrous storm was located about 370 miles southeast of Isla Beata in the Dominican Republic, moving west-northwest at 22 miles per hour. Beryl is the earliest Category 5 hurricane to form in the Atlantic Ocean, due to uncharacteristically warm waters. The storm was forecast to remain at major hurricane strength as it roars near Jamaica on Wednesday and the Cayman Islands on Thursday, before heading toward Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula on Friday.

Royal Caribbean International “Grandeur of the Seas,” which departed from Port Tampa Bay yesterday, will now visit Yucatan (Progresso), Mexico, on day four and Cozumel, Mexico, on day three.

“The safety of our guests, crew and communities we visit is our top priority. Along with our Chief Meteorologist, we are closely monitoring the progression of Hurricane Beryl, and are making adjustments to some of our Caribbean sailings for the comfort and safety of our guests and crew. Guests and travel advisors will be notified directly of any necessary changes,” said a Royal Caribbean Group spokesperson in an email.

Two Royal Caribbean ships scheduled to depart on Saturday, July 6, will maintain their original itineraries.

Margaritaville at Sea “Islander,” which will depart around 4 p.m. this afternoon, has adjusted its itinerary to avoid the Yucatan Peninsula.

“Due to the storm’s currently projected path, and for the safety and comfort of all our passengers and crew, the second destination port of our sailing has been changed from Progreso, Mexico to Nassau, Bahamas,” wrote Maria Hayworth, the president of Hayworth PR, in an email.

Carnival “Paradise” is scheduled to depart on Thursday with no reported itinerary changes.

For updated information, Port Tampa Bay directs guests to confirm information with their cruise line. Schedules and cruise ship departure times can change at any time without notice. As of noon on Tuesday, “there are no impacts to our operations, including departures and arrivals of our cruise partners,” said Lisa Wolf-Chason of Port Tampa Bay.

Guests can expect to hear about all other changes from the cruise line they are sailing with, such as “any changes to your cruise itinerary, including vessel weather avoidance plans and any portcall changes,” said Wolf-Chason.

12:00 - 12:30 - You will be transferred to Paradise Grand from the speedboat.

12:30 - 12:45 - You will be given a short briefing about your cruise while sipping your welcome drink aboard the Paradise Grand.

13:00 - Lunch will be served in the La Espacia Restaurant while Paradise Grand Cruises to the islands and islets of stunning Lan Ha Bay.

19:00 - Dinner is served in La Espacia Restaurant.

Many people would agree with me that a Caribbean cruise is the perfect antidote to the winter doldrums and work stress. Plus, it's a wonderful way to reconnect with friends and loved ones. The ship takes care of everything — transportation, accommodation, meals and entertainment — so you can skip much of the daily planning drama and simply enjoy your vacation and travel companions. Every day you wake up to warm weather, sunny skies (well, most of the time) and a new destination promising white sand beaches, fun activities and memories to be made.

The biggest decision you have to make is between a pina colada and a strawberry daiquiri.

Why cruise to the Caribbean?

Sun, sand and sea are what most travelers want when they book a cruise to the Caribbean. If you want to trade chilly weather at home for warm, sunny days spent relaxing on a beach or swimming in clear blue waters, a Caribbean cruise is an ideal vacation. Unlike a resort stay, your cruise will offer the chance to sample multiple beaches in various destinations, as well as the pool life on board the ship.

Many people choose Caribbean cruises because they're affordable getaways to tropical destinations. The sailings depart from several U.S. home ports — from Galveston, Texas, to Boston — so many Americans can drive to their departure ports and avoid paying for airfare.

However, more ships sail this region of the world in winter when other destinations (such as the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Canada and New England, and Bermuda) are too chilly for vacations at sea.

The luxury and upscale cruise lines especially tend to only base ships in the Caribbean during winter because their fleets are too small to base a ship there year-round — and their passengers want to explore bucket-list destinations around the world.

Best Caribbean itineraries

Cruise lines divide the Caribbean into three regions: Eastern, Western and Southern. Itineraries tend to concentrate on one area, but longer itineraries might include islands in two or all of the regions, as well as ports in the Bahamas and Florida.

Which itinerary is best for you will depend primarily on which port you want to depart from and how long of a vacation you can take. Once you see the options that fit your parameters, you'll want to consider how many port stops versus sea days an itinerary has and which specific islands you'll visit.

The best Caribbean itineraries for first-time cruisers are often the seven-night Eastern or seven-night Western Caribbean cruises out of Florida home ports, such as Miami , Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral (near Orlando).

Western Caribbean

You'll find two main types of Western Caribbean cruises, and both are fabulous introductions to Caribbean culture and attractions. The classic Western Caribbean itinerary visits Mexico (typically Cozumel or Costa Maya), Jamaica, Grand Cayman and a cruise line's private island, which is typically in the Bahamas.

However, some ships sail a Western Caribbean itinerary that's more focused on Central America, with stops in Mexico, Belize and Honduras. These itineraries are great for travelers who are interested in Mayan or Mexican culture in addition to beaches and water sports.

Western Caribbean itineraries are typically a week but can be as short as four nights (with just one stop in Mexico) or as long as 11 nights (though these might include stops in the Bahamas, too). You can find departures from ports all along the East Coast, the Gulf Coast and Florida.

Eastern Caribbean

Another popular itinerary for first-timers is the Eastern Caribbean, with visits to St. Thomas, St. Maarten, Grand Turk, the Dominican Republic and/or San Juan, Puerto Rico . Private island and Bahamas stops are common. Longer cruises or smaller-ship itineraries might stop elsewhere in the U.S. and the British Virgin Islands, St. Barts, Antigua or St. Kitts.

These itineraries are slightly more targeted toward beach time and water sports, with fewer options for historical or cultural attractions than their Western Caribbean counterparts.

As with the Western Caribbean, seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises are the most common itinerary length. The shortest options are four nights, typically visiting only Grand Turk or Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The longest, around 10 to 12 nights, will often include Southern Caribbean ports or start from more northerly home ports.

You can find departures from ports as far west as Galveston and as far north as Boston, but most true Eastern Caribbean cruises set sail from Florida or Puerto Rico.

Southern Caribbean

Southern Caribbean cruises tend to attract luxury travelers and repeat cruisers. That's because these islands are farther from U.S. shores, meaning you'll need to fly to an island to catch your cruise ship or need more than a week's vacation to get from Florida all the way south to ports in Aruba or St. Lucia and back. The islands themselves tend to be more exclusive, with fewer ships visiting on any given day.

Common destinations on Southern Caribbean cruise itineraries include Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Barbados, Trinidad, St. Lucia, Dominica, Martinique and Grenada. You'll find everything from gorgeous beaches and diving destinations to lush rainforests and flowing waterfalls.

The shortest Southern Caribbean cruises are five or six days and leave from places such as Barbados, San Juan and St. Thomas. You can find weeklong sailings from Florida, but more commonly, they're eight nights or longer.

The Bahamas and Florida

Yes, I know that the Bahamas is technically located in the Atlantic, but it's an easy mistake to think the balmy islands are found in the Caribbean. Besides, many cruises add stops in the Bahamas to a Caribbean cruise. The majority of the cruise line private islands are located in the Bahamas, and these appear regularly on all Caribbean itineraries. The Bahamian ports of Nassau and Freeport, and even Florida's Key West, often appear on Caribbean-centric cruises.

Why? They're close to the U.S., and cruise lines use these ports to break up the multiple days at sea needed to sail farther south into the Caribbean proper.

Best Caribbean cruise lines

You'll be hard-pressed to find a cruise line that does not sail to the Caribbean for at least a few months a year. The big ship lines will station multiple ships in this region year-round, with additional ships swinging by during the colder months.

If you consider the best Caribbean cruise lines to be the ones with the most ship and itinerary choices, look to the big-ship lines such as Carnival , Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line .

These lines offer a range of itinerary lengths, port combinations and departure cities from the Gulf Coast to the East Coast. Their biggest and newest ships are often deployed to the Caribbean, so you can find all the latest celebrity-backed restaurants, exhilarating top-deck attractions (like waterslides, climbing walls and roller coaster rides) and expanded cabin choices. These lines cater to all ages, including older couples and families with children.

If you're looking for an adults-only option, Virgin Voyages caters to the young at heart with its edgy new ships. It offers five- to 11-night Caribbean cruises from Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico. Viking takes an entirely different approach to no-kids cruises, catering to mature travelers craving culture and educational vacations. It offers wintertime (October to March) Caribbean cruises, though many are paired with a Panama Canal crossing.

Luxury lovers should look at the smaller ships of the Crystal , Explora Journeys, Seabourn , Silversea , Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleets for opulent accommodations and fine dining while sailing the tropics. Oceania , Azamara and Windstar Cruises are less inclusive but still high-end.

For something a little different, try SeaDream Yacht Club for a super-small ship that feels like a private yacht, complete with an emphasis on alfresco recreation and dining. Star Clippers appeals to sailing enthusiasts with its masted ships, simple entertainment and emphasis on water sports.

Things to do in the Caribbean

White sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters are the biggest attractions for most Caribbean cruisers. You'll be hard-pressed to find a Caribbean cruise port that does not offer beach access. Whether you enjoy a cruise line's private beach or a public beach lined with bars, or you opt to get a day pass to a resort or beach club, you can rarely go wrong with a beach day in the Caribbean.

Water sports are also quintessential Caribbean attractions. Cruisers can not only swim, snorkel and scuba dive, but they can also kayak, scuba, Jet Ski, sail and parasail. Sometimes, you can do these things right from whatever beach is your destination for the day. Otherwise, book a tour to the best spots or for a guided activity. Or, book a leisurely sunset sail or high-octane party cruise to get on the water, not necessarily in it.

Shopping is a popular diversion, from high-end French stores in Martinique and St. Barts to crafts markets and souvenir shops. Historical attractions range from forts erected to protect against pirates to Mayan temples. Cultural tours focus on local cuisine, wine and spirits, and dancing. (Yes, even you can learn to salsa.) Active travelers will find plenty of hiking, biking, zip lining and all-terrain-vehicle tours.

Best Caribbean cruise ports

A single cruise line might call at 20 to 30 different ports in the Caribbean. Although you might think they all look like stock photos of white sand beaches with palm trees and blue skies, each island has its own look, culture and vibe. I've sailed to a large number of those ports and would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite. They all have their charms for different reasons.

The following Caribbean cruise ports are generally standouts, no matter your travel style.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is an island in the Caribbean just offshore from Playa del Carmen and south of Cancun. It truly offers something for everyone. You can beeline to the beach, go scuba diving or snorkeling, or head to the mainland to see Mayan cultural sites like Tulum and Chichen Itza. Stick around town to find cheap drinks at Senor Frog's or shop for souvenirs.

Cruise ships call at a number of ports in Jamaica: Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, Kingston and Falmouth. Many folks spend the day on the beach, often at one of the resorts, but climbing up Dunn's River Falls is a unique experience not to be missed. Cruisers seeking a thrill can find bobsled, zip line, river tubing and ATV tours. And, yes, reggae fans — there is a Bob Marley tour you can take.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

San Juan is both a popular departure port and a port of call on Eastern and Southern Caribbean cruise itineraries. Its Old Town and historic fort overlooking the water are top attractions, but cruisers have the opportunity to visit El Yunque National Forest (the only tropical rainforest on U.S. soil) or head to the beach.

Belize City, Belize

Travelers don't tend to spend much time in Belize City itself, but it's a great jumping-off point for all Belize has to offer. Visit the Altun Ha Mayan ruins, go river tubing and spelunking in caves, zip line through the jungle or go snorkeling or diving along Belize's famous barrier reef (the Northern Hemisphere's largest).

St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands

This island is known for its gorgeous Magens Bay beach. However, if you'd rather not share the beach with several ships' worth of cruisers, take the ferry to nearby St. John for the day and find a U.S. national park and a more chill beach experience. Take the kids to the Coral World Ocean Park, your sweetie on a catamaran sail or snorkel trip, and your adventurous friends on a helmet dive or BOSS underwater scooter adventure.

You'll recognize St. Lucia for its lush green twin peaks known as the Pitons. The island entices travelers with postcard-worthy beaches set against jungle scenery. It even has its own volcano with sulfur springs to visit. You can explore its rainforest via zip line or aerial tram, book a relaxing day at a beach or resort, or take to the sea for a catamaran, snorkel trip or fishing trip.

Beach, beach and more beach — Aruba is definitely a port to be in, on or near the water. It's one of the southernmost Caribbean islands, found just off the coast of Venezuela, and its location protects it from the summer and fall hurricanes that can hammer the islands to its north and east. Animal lovers might want to check out its ostrich farm — not something you usually find in a Caribbean cruise port.

When to book a Caribbean cruise

The best time to book a Caribbean cruise is clearly right now! Seriously, you can almost always find a deal on a Caribbean cruise if you're flexible enough with your travel dates and cabin types.

If you want to book a popular sail date (such as a Christmas and New Year's Eve sailing) or are looking for a cabin type that's in limited supply (connecting cabins or studio rooms for solo travelers), book as far in advance as you can, at least nine months out, if not longer. If you're retired and can drive to a port, you can likely find an inside cabin to book just a few weeks prior to sailing — at least during nonpeak travel times.

The first few months of the year, known as wave season in the cruise industry, is a time when cruise lines all offer some kind of booking promotion, and you can often find discounted fares or free booking perks on Caribbean cruises. Many cruise lines also run sales at the end of summer or during Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday, and Caribbean sailings are almost always included.

What to bring on a Caribbean cruise

Swimsuits and warm-weather clothing should top your Caribbean cruise packing list , but don't forget the sunscreen. The sun is stronger than you might expect in this part of the world, and you can easily burn during a long day at the beach if you don't apply and reapply plenty of sunscreen. Hats, sunglasses, moisture-wicking athletic clothing, and your favorite cover-ups and sundresses are all must-pack items.

I also recommend that all passengers bring a passport on their Caribbean sailing. If you're cruising round-trip from a U.S. port, a passport is not required by law — but it's a good idea to pack one in case of an unexpected medical emergency or mechanical problem that forces you to debark the ship in a foreign country.

Bottom line

Whether you're new to cruising or a hardy sailor, the Caribbean is the perfect place for a cruise vacation. If you've never been, any of the islands will delight. If you've sailed before, there's always some destination you've never visited or an activity you haven't tried.

When winter in your hometown drags on, or the stress of the workweek gets you down, a Caribbean cruise is often just what the doctor ordered to lift the weight of the world from your shoulders and let you escape to a tropical paradise for a few days.

How was your Bahamas cruise? Margaritaville at Sea Paradise receives mixed reviews

The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise , departing from the Port of Palm Beach , has become a popular choice for vacationers seeking a tropical escape with a laid-back vibe. This themed cruise, inspired by Jimmy Buffett's famous song, promises a relaxing and fun-filled experience.

However, the Margaritaville at Sea cruise has garnered mixed reviews from passengers, according to a recent Palm Beach Post survey . Our survey collected feedback from Palm Beach Post readers about their experiences on the cruise, covering aspects such as food, activities, service, amenities, social experiences and overall enjoyment.

Robert Ayrsman, a resident of West Palm Beach , described his experience as "amazing," stating that he enjoys the cruise so much that he takes every chance to go. Similarly, Roger Conceicao from West Palm Beach praised the cruise for offering discounted rates, top-notch food and excellent service, making it worth the money.

On the other hand, Nancy Hooks from Delray Beach provided a more critical review, mentioning that while the food was mediocre, the cruise offered great shows, nice entertainment and adequate rooms. Despite some negative aspects, Nancy and her group had a good time, especially enjoying a resort day on the beach with a lovely pool and lunch.

Lynn Houser from Delray Beach had positive remarks about the food and activities, highlighting the good service and personable staff. However, Marilyn Kay Egan from Delray found the food to be only fine in regular buffets and didn't feel compelled to recommend the cruise to others.

Merike Saarniit from Lake Worth Beach , who had been on the cruise several times before its rebranding, shared a mixed opinion. While describing it as a quick-yet-relaxing getaway, she noted some downsides such as minuscule pools and overcrowded hot tubs. Nonetheless, the cruise offered plentiful and good food, and she appreciated the extra discount for her husband, a Vietnam veteran.

Jessica Castellanos from Boca Raton enjoyed the food experience but expressed a desire for more social activities, particularly a pool party with music and activities for all ages. Barbara Beil from The Villages in West Palm, on the other hand, had an incredible time on both her cruises with Margaritaville, praising the staff for their efforts in ensuring passengers enjoy themselves. She mentioned the various entertainment options available on board, such as a casino, trivia, bingo and pickleball courts.

Some passengers did not have positive experiences. Gloria Mulkey-Bell from Pembroke Pines called her cruise "awful," criticizing the food quality and service, similar to her experience at the Wyndham resort.
