The Musical Box Concert Tickets
See a magnificent blast from the past with The Musical Box tickets today. Since 1993, The Musical Box has seen a long rotation of performers among its ranks giving passionate progressive rock performances. The group is most notable for being a tribute band to the successful English rock band Genesis, performing near-identically to the band’s tenure in the 1970s. The group rose to its greatest height in 2001 with its worldwide circuit, its shows selling out all across the United States and Canada. The group’s most successful tours are the anniversary specials they perform whenever one of Genesis’ albums hits one of its major anniversaries.
The most successful of The Musical Box’s tours was the 25th anniversary of the band’s formation, featuring music spanning “From Genesis to Revelation” and “Wind & Wuthering”, two of Genesis’ biggest albums. The tour also saw the addition of new band members at the time.
The group also began reaching into Genesis’ later albums, with another anniversary tour in 2019 through 2020 performing music from “...And Then There Were Three…” marking a move away from Genesis’ mid-70s era music. Don’t miss one of the most exhilarating tribute bands in progressive rock with The Musical Box tickets from TicketSmarter.

Shakira is going on a world tour starting in November. Here are all the details
Shakira has revealed she's going on a world tour!
The singer made a surprise appearance during night one of Coachella on Friday, April 12 to perform alongside Bizarrap. Fans online were ecstatic to see the Latin superstar on stage performing her song, “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53,” alongside the DJ.
They got even more hyped when Shakira announced that she would be going on the road for her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.”
“So stoked to finally announce that LAS MUJERES YA NO LLORAN WORLD TOUR is happening!” Shakira wrote on her Instagram . “Can’t wait to be back on stage partying and celebrating with my wolfpack! 🐺Dates coming up soon — register for info / pre-sale access now! Auuuuuuuuuuuuuu!”
The announcement comes weeks after the release of her 12th studio album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.” This is Shakira’s first tour since 2018’s “El Dorado World Tour.”
Find out how you can catch Shakira on tour, below:
When are tickets for Shakira going on sale?
The "She Wolf" singer has yet to announce when tickets will officially go on sale, but in her message on X she did provide a link to her official website , asking fans to "sign up to get information" about her upcoming tour.
In her tweet, she noted that the tour dates were "coming up soon" and to register for information and pre-sale access.
Where is Shakira going on tour?
Shakira hasn't officially announced her 2024 tour dates nor tour stops as yet, but since it's a world tour, it's likely that the signer will hit the same locations as her “El Dorado World Tour” in 2018. During that year, Shakira traveled all the way to Europe, the U.S. and Latin America.
Though she promised that tour dates would be forthcoming, the singer did reveal in an Instagram story on March 13 that she plans to kick off her new tour in November in California at the Acrisure Arena.
"This is it! This is where we're starting my tour in November," she said with a smile outside the arena. "Amazing."
What is Shakira’s most recent album ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ about?
Shakira released her 12th studio album, “ Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran ,” which translates in English to “Women No Longer Cry,” on March 22. The album comes seven years after she released “El Dorado” in 2017.
A mix of pop, reggaeton, regional and rock, Shakira told the Sunday Times that “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” represents “the transformation of pain into creativity, frustration into productivity, anger into passion, vulnerability into resilience.”
“There were so many pieces of my life that crumbled in front of my eyes and I had to rebuild myself in a way, picking up the bones from the floor and putting them all together. And the glue that kept it all together was music,” she said.
The songs included on the album also touch on her public split from former pro-soccer player Gerard Piqué like “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” and “TQG.”
What is the track list for 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran'?
- “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” includes 17 tracks.

Just a Few of the Biggest Concert Tours of 2024, from Olivia Rodrigo to Bad Bunny
Posted: April 13, 2024 | Last updated: April 13, 2024
Listening to your favorite musician at home is fun, but there's nothing quite like the experience of singing along with them, and tons of more fans, live. And as luck would have it, 2024 is shaping up to be a massive year for some of the world's top musical acts, so chances are your favorite performer might be stopping at a city near you soon.
Ahead, we rounded up some of the biggest concert tours of 2024, ranging from Taylor Swift's mega-popular Eras Tour to Drake and J. Cole's exciting It's All A Blur Tour - Big as the What?—set to kick off this winter. You can also expect tour dates from classic icons like Stevie Nicks, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, and more.
1) Taylor Swift
Undoubtedly one of the biggest concert tours ever, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will continue right through 2024. The international leg of the tour kicked off in Japan, where she played four shows in Tokyo. She'll also stop in Melbourne, Singapore, Paris, Madrid, London, Milan, and more before returning to the States to play in the fall.
There's nothing like seeing T. Swift IRL, but don't fret if you're unable to nab tickets—the Eras Tour movie is now available to stream from the comfort of your home.
2) Olivia Rodrigo
This is not a drill—"Drivers License" singer Olivia Rodrigo will be hitting the road on tour starting at the end of February. The Guts World Tour runs from February through mid-August and has dates in Nashville, Toronto, Chicago, and New York City, among others. Even cooler? Rodrigo will have a stacked list of special guests—like PinkPantheress, Remi Wolf, The Breeders, and Chappell Roan—with her.
3) Red Hot Chili Peppers
Did you hear the good news? The Red Hot Chili Peppers have extended their global tour through summer 2024. The buzzy stadium tour, which kicked off in June 2022, will now run until July 2024 and bring the California-based band to places like Los Angeles, Tampa, Toronto, and Salt Lake City.
4) Bad Bunny
It's fitting that "Monaco" rapper Bad Bunny titled his tour Most Wanted —it's slated to be one of the year's hottest tours. Planned to help promote his latest studio album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana , Most Wanted will kick off in Salt Lake City on February 21 and run through May 26.
5) Billy Joel
If you haven't yet seen Billy Joel perform live, there's still time! The Piano Man has added more tour dates to his schedule, stopping in cities like Tampa, New York, Denver, and St. Louis this year. Even more exciting? He'll share the stage with fellow iconic performers Sting and Stevie Nicks for some of these dates.
Mitski recently announced that she's expanding her North American tour dates , and we couldn't be more excited. The months-long tour, which supports her 2023 studio album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, has a long list of stops, including Miami Beach, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Paris.
There's nothing quite like a Madonna concert, that's for sure. The singer's Celebration Tour , which started last October, continues straight through the spring with dates in Seattle, San Francisco, Mexico City, and more. Besides her eye-catching sets, chart-topping songs, and impressive choreography, concertgoers also get a glimpse of the performer's fantastic costumes, which include looks from Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier.
8) Bleachers
The New Jersey-founded rock band, which is fronted by Jack Antonoff—known for producing albums for top acts like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Lana Del Rey—not only has announced a new album but a new tour , too. The tour will start in the UK in March, ending fittingly in the band's home state of New Jersey in mid-June. Check out their newly released music video for "Tiny Moves" if you need a Bleachers fix in the meantime.
9) Nicki Minaj
Nicki fans rejoice: the rapper and singer might be coming to a city near you soon as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. The massive tour will include performances in Brooklyn, Oakland, and Baltimore, with stops at Dreamville Festival and Rolling Loud California along the way.
10) Blink 182
Live out all of your nineties and early aughts pop-punk dreams with one of Blink 182's One More Time Tour dates. The tour, which supports the band's ninth studio album, One More Time..., will bring the trio to cities all over the globe, including Sydney, Santiago, Portland, and Boston. The tour's supporting act is Pierce the Veil, which is also worth checking out.
11) Stevie Nicks
The oh-so-magical Stevie Nicks continues her touring streak with a bunch of 2024 concert dates . Set to begin in Atlantic City, NJ on February 10, Nicks will visit a dozen cities throughout the U.S. this year, such as New Orleans, Omaha, and Chicago. "Let's keep this party going in 2024," the singer-songwriter posted on her Instagram in September to announce the newly added tour dates.
12) The 1975
The 1975 is showing no signs of slowing down. The British band, famous for hits like "Somebody Else" and "Robbers," has extended their 2023 tour through 2024. Titled Still...At Their Very Best , the 22-date tour will open in Glasgow on February 8 and conclude in Amsterdam on March 24.
13) Drake and J. Cole
Rap greats Drake and J. Cole come together for the It's All a Blur Tour – Big As the What? which is guaranteed to be a good time. Drake, fresh off his 2023 It's All a Blur tour with 21 Savage, is set to hit dozens of cities starting in February, many of which J. Cole will also be in tow for. Scoop up tickets ASAP, as Drake's shows are known to sell out.
14) Janet Jackson
Superstar Janet Jackson is also extending her 2023 tour, Together Again , into 2024 with dates in Anaheim, Austin, New Orleans, and Hartford. Even cooler? Jackson's supporting act is the 2000s southern rap legend Nelly.
15) Rolling Stones
If you've ever dreamed of seeing the Rolling Stones perform live in person, now's your chance. The iconic rockers, who released their studio album Hackney Diamonds this past fall, are returning on the road for a 16-date tour with shows throughout the United States and Canada. Concertgoers can expect a mix of new tunes and Stones classics.
16) Bruce Springsteen
Famous for countless listenable hits like "Born to Run" and "Glory Days," Bruce Springsteen is set to embark on a massive world tour this year with his band, The E Street Band. The much-anticipated tour will take the Boss and his crew to cities such as Phoenix, San Diego, Dublin, and Madrid, from March through November.
17) John Mayer
Be sure to catch John Mayer's solo tour this year, which will bring the guitarist and crooner to cities throughout Europe. This leg, an extension of his popular 2023 solo tour, will kick off in Stockholm on March 13 and finish in Dublin on March 29.
18) Shania Twain
Okay, this one is technically a residency , but we're excited nonetheless. Shania Twain, most known for her incredible outfits (her hooded leopard print look, anyone?) and hits like "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" is setting up shop in Vegas starting May 10. Twain's residency will take place at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood on and off throughout December 2024.
All good things must come to an end. The Eagles, known for "Hotel California" and other amazing rock songs, began their final concert tour this winter. It launched in Phoenix on January 20, with March 16 as its last date in the United States. Eagles fans won't want to miss this one.
20) Alanis Morisette: The Triple Moon Tour
Alanis Morisette joins forces with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts for their 2024 Triple Moon Tour , which has dates in North America and Canada. This tour is a great one to catch this summer, as it's slated to run from June through August.

Movie theaters need more movies. Will they ever get enough to truly thrive again?
That was the central question overhanging CinemaCon 2024, the annual convention bringing together Hollywood studios and multiplex operators in Las Vegas this week.
Exhibitors pleaded with the major studios to release more films of varying budgets on the big screen, while studios made the case that their upcoming slates are robust enough to keep them in business.
Once again, CinemaCon, where studios trot out executives and movie stars to pitch their upcoming blockbusters, arrived at a particularly challenging time for the film industry.
After weathering a devastating pandemic that shut down theaters for months, two of the most essential parts of the Hollywood machine, writers and actors, went on strike. The work stoppages — which lasted a combined six months — prompted the leading entertainment companies to push a number of titles to 2025 from 2024, disrupting the supply chain and sparking widespread anxiety in the exhibition community.
Box office revenue in the U.S. and Canada is expected to total about $8.5 billion, which is down from $9 billion in 2023 and a far cry from the pre-pandemic yearly tallies that nearly reached $12 billion.

Movie theaters make plea for more films, rail against piracy at CinemaCon 2024
Flag bearers for the National Assn. of Theatre Owners, the Motion Picture Assn. and others weighed in on the state of the movie business at CinemaCon.
April 9, 2024
“It’s not enough for us to simply sit back and want more movies,” said Michael O’Leary, president of the National Assn. of Theatre Owners, during Tuesday’s state-of-the-industry address at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace. “We must work with distribution to get more movies of all sizes to the marketplace.”
Though a fuller release schedule is expected for 2025, talk of budget cuts, greater industry consolidation and corporate mergers has forced exhibitors to prepare for the possibility of a near future with fewer studios making fewer movies.
In the extravagant banquet and trade show halls of Caesars Palace, theater operators groaned about 2024 being painted as yet another “lost year” for cinema — determined in spite of the grim discourse to remain optimistic.
Movies are back? At CinemaCon, theater owners and studios will make the case
CinemaCon, the annual film industry conference in Las Vegas, is set to rally support for theaters amid a thin 2024 box office slate.
“All indications are the rest of the year is going to be a lot better,” said David Fetters, vice president of West Mall Theatres in Minnesota and South Dakota. “The product we’re seeing here is looking outstanding.”
The studios tried to give exhibitors something to hope for during their CinemaCon presentations — hyping their movie lineups, bringing out filmmakers and cast members, pulling silly stunts, and playing sizzle reels, sneak peeks, trailers and, in some cases, entire features for their industry audience.
‘Wicked’ brings down the house
While promoting their 2024-25 programming, the studios pulled out plenty of stops.
Distribution executives at Warner Bros. delivered their opening remarks dressed as Michael Keaton’s Beetlejuice; Dwayne Johnson joined a Polynesian dance troupe while introducing Disney’s “Moana 2”; and the head of distribution at Paramount entered the theater in full “Gladiator” armor on a gold chariot.
But Universal’s presentation of “Wicked” — director Jon M. Chu’s film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical — took the cake. Convention attendees arrived at their seats to find a surprise in their cup holders: roses that illuminated for a technicolor light show set to an instrumental medley of “Wicked” songs. After the overture, a pre-taped message to all “CinemaConians” from Jeff Goldblum’s imposing Wizard of Oz played onscreen, and Goldblum took the stage in real life.
Double, double toil and trouble: ‘Wicked’ will be split into two movies
‘With more space, we can tell the story of WICKED as it was meant to be told,’ director Jon M. Chu said Tuesday of his film adaptation of the musical.
April 26, 2022
He was later joined by Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible), Jonathan Bailey (Fiyero) producer Marc Platt and Chu, who fought back tears while talking about casting the film’s leading witches. On cue, Glinda and Elphaba themselves — Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo — emerged from the wings to thunderous applause.
Like Chu, Grande was overcome with emotion and paused briefly to compose herself while delivering her remarks. .
Other pictures teased during the studio presentations included Universal’s “Despicable Me 4,” Warner Bros.’ “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” and “Joker: Folie à Deux,” Paramount’s “A Quiet Place: Day One” and “Transformers One,” and Disney’s “Inside Out 2” and “Deadpool & Wolverine.”
Paramount deal looms
Amid the displays of corporate harmony, it was hard to ignore the elephant in the convention center: a potential merger between Paramount Global and David Ellison’s production company, Skydance.
Shares of Paramount Global — home of Paramount Pictures, CBS and several other legacy brands and franchises — took a nosedive Wednesday after news that a group of of the company’s directors are stepping down amid merger discussions.
Paramount, Shari Redstone face investor angst over possible Skydance deal
Shares of Paramount Global were down as much as 7% Wednesday as several directors are leaving the company’s board and talks with Skydance continue.
April 10, 2024
This would be only the latest Hollywood merger in a string of deals, including Disney’s acquisition of Fox in 2019 and Warner Bros.’ union with Discovery in 2022.
When asked about the theatrical implications of another studio sale in an already rapidly consolidating industry, National Assn. of Theatre Owners President Michael O’Leary and Motion Picture Assn. Chairman Charles Rivkin largely waved it off.
David Ellison’s Skydance explores possible merger with Paramount through National Amusements
Skydance Media is exploring an all-cash deal to acquire National Amusements, the company that owns the bulk of Paramount Global voting stock, as part of a deal to merge Skydance and Paramount together.
Jan. 10, 2024
“There’s always other things that we can do as an industry association to strengthen our industry, and I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it,” Rivkin said during a CinemaCon news conference.
Rather than avoiding the topic during the studio’s CinemaCon presentation on Thursday, Paramount Pictures chief Brian Robbins handled the situation with humor.
“There’s been a lot of speculation around our parent company around [mergers and acquisitions],” Robbins said before joking that Paramount’s head of domestic distribution, Chris Aronson, “has now thrown his hat into the ring as a bidder.”
“He’s starting a Kickstarter campaign,” Robbins continued as the crowd chuckled.
Japanese cinema and faith-based content reign
As the domestic film business has been thrown into turmoil in recent years, Japanese cinema and faith-based content have been two of movie theaters’ saving graces.
Industry leaders kicked off CinemaCon on Tuesday by singing the praises of Sony-owned anime distributor Crunchyroll’s hits — including the latest “Demon Slayer” installment.
Mitchel Berger, senior vice president of global commerce at Crunchyroll, said Tuesday that the global anime business generated $14 billion a decade ago and is projected to generate $37 billion next year.
Japan’s ‘Godzilla’ studio Toho broke box office records. Now its Hollywood footprint is expanding
Toho, the Japanese film and TV studio behind ‘Godzilla Minus One,’ has invested $225 million in Fifth Season, the production company behind Apple TV+’s ‘Severance.’
Dec. 11, 2023
“Anime is red hot right now,” Berger said. “Fans have known about it for years, but now everyone else is catching up and recognizing that it’s a cultural, economic force to be reckoned with.”
Last year, event-cinema company Fathom Events decided to expand its annual Studio Ghibli series, screening “Spirited Away,” “Princess Mononoke” and other Hayao Miyazaki classics for five nights each instead of just one or two. Fathom Events Chief Executive Ray Nutt said that the extended runs allowed those titles to gross 142% more than they had in the past.
“Anime was one that did very well for us,” Nutt said. “The team is really good at sourcing content and then figuring out where the audiences drive tickets.”
‘The Boy and the Heron’ and ‘Godzilla Minus One’ break box office records
Anime titan Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film, “The Boy and the Heron,” took the top spot at the weekend box office, breaking records along with another Japanese film, “Godzilla Minus One.”
Dec. 10, 2023
Another type of product buoying the exhibition industry right now is faith-based programming, shepherded in large part by “Sound of Freedom” distributor Angel Studios.
How summer blockbuster ‘Sound of Freedom’ became a battlefield in the culture war
With a controversial star, a subject conspiracy theorists love and a sensational box-office take, ‘Sound of Freedom’ couldn’t help but stir up a fight.
July 21, 2023
During its presentation on Wednesday, Angel Studios unveiled its lineup of “stories that amplify light,” including an animated feature telling the biblical tale of David and a live-action drama about a German pastor who conspires against the Nazis during World War. II.
“Some of the faith-based things, especially in our part of the country — the Midwest — have had a lot of good traction,” Fetters said.
Nutt added that Fathom Events has also had “huge success” connecting with faith-based audiences by screening content such as episodes of “The Chosen,” a drama series chronicling the life of Jesus Christ. The latest season of the show generated $32 million at the box office, according to Nutt.
Exhibitors make plea for more movies... and flexible windows
The greatest challenge facing theaters right now is a dearth of theatrical releases, exhibitors say. Theater owners urged studio executives at CinemaCon to put more films in theaters — and not just big-budget tent poles timed for summer movie season and holiday weekends.
“There’s been a bit of a shortage of good content because of the strikes and that sort of thing,” said Mark Shaw, owner of Shaw Theatres in Singapore. “And also, during the pandemic, we lost some of the audience. Trying to get that audience back into theaters is a bit of a challenge.”
“Whenever we have a [blockbuster] film — whether it be ‘Barbie’ or ‘Super Mario’ ... records are set,” added Bill Barstow, co-founder of ACX Cinemas in Nebraska. “But we just don’t have enough of them.”
Margot Robbie boards Lionsgate and Hasbro’s ‘Monopoly’ movie as producer
Lionsgate revealed that Margot Robbie’s production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, has boarded its Monopoly movie at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
During an industry think-tank panel on Wednesday, Disney distribution executive Cathleen Taff defended the company’s decision to delay certain movies — including the animated film “Elio” and a live-action remake of “Snow White” — to 2025, explaining that at least some of those titles were not finished in time for a 2024 release.
“From a studio perspective ... we need to walk in tandem together,” Taff said.
“We have to pick some good dates and we had to do those shifts. And of course we thought about the theaters, but the reality is we’re not going to release an unfinished film.”
‘Joker 2’ trailer: Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga lead twisted, musical fever dream
Warner Bros. debuted the first trailer for ‘Joker: Folie à Deux,’ starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
An additional issue affecting owners of independent theaters and smaller chains is studio-imposed three-week minimum runs for major movies. Multiple exhibitors told The Times that these businesses can’t afford to let one movie to take up a screen for three weeks because there simply isn’t enough population where they operate to fill seats for that long.
“If you run it for two weeks, the community has already seen it,” said Colleen Barstow, vice president of ACX Cinemas.
“There is no need to require three-week or longer commitments,” said Chris Johnson, chief executive of Classic Cinemas in Illinois. “If you have a hit, we will hold it.”
The next frontier: ‘alternative content’
One way that exhibitors are trying to fill the void of studio releases is by showing “alternative content” — from reissues of beloved films and screenings of TV shows to musical performances and sporting events.
The best example of this phenomenon is AMC Theatres’ distribution of Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” and Beyonce’s “Renaissance.”
Fathom Events, which has been in the business of alternative content for decades, is going further by attaching live and pre-recorded Q&As to their screenings, as well as handing out collectible merchandise as an extra incentive for audiences.
‘Dune 2’ spices up the box office after a months-long dry spell
‘Dune 2,’ starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, opened in theaters this weekend and revitalized the domestic box office.
March 3, 2024
“You go to go to a regular movie, you buy the ticket, you watch the movie — I don’t mean to demean the movie experience by any stretch of imagination — but that’s pretty much it,” Nutt said. “With us, you are going to ... get something special.”
Larger companies such as AMC have been partnering with studios to level up their merchandise game as well. See: the infamous “Dune 2” popcorn bucket , which inspired Disney to promise at CinemaCon to deliver a must-have “Deadpool 3” popcorn bucket.
“There are some studios that inadvertently make crude and rude popcorn buckets,” joked Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige during Disney’s presentation. “And then there are popcorn buckets designed by Deadpool.”
