MANILA, Philippines – Southeast Asian Swifties are now waiting for the general sale of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Singapore.

Standby for the sale opens at 12 pm on Friday, July 7 – the same day as the release of Taylor’s version of her 2010 album Speak Now .

In the meantime, Ticketmaster Singapore has posted the concert’s seat plan and ticket prices on its website .

Ticket sales are limited to four per account.

The Eras Tour in Singapore details 

The Eras Tour in Singapore will take place at the Singapore National Stadium in March 2024 on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, and 9th. Before heading into the ticket sale, take a close look at the seat map and decide on your favoured categories. There's no saying what your queue number will be so we advise deciding on backup seats in case your preferred categories get snapped up. 

Ticket prices for the concert are below, though there are also six VIP packages starting from $328 that come with exclusive Taylor Swift merchandise.

How to get tickets for Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Singapore

General sale

The general sale for Taylor Swift's concert tickets start today at 12pm. If you have registered as a fan, you should have received an email by now that either provides you an access code or puts you on the waitlist. We reiterate, you need an access code for the general sale, although this doesn't guarantee that you'll secure tickets. 

Here are some important instructions to keep in mind: 

• Click the link sent to your email at the appropriate time. 
• Only use one browser or device – do not open multiple pages.
• Enter your unique access code. Should you receive an error, please follow the instructions that were sent via email titled “How to Access the   Taylor   Swift   | The Eras Tour On-Sale”.
• To keep the process fair for everyone, you will be placed in a queue. The time you join the Waiting Room prior to the event going on sale does not determine your place in the Smart Queue. 
• Once you get your spot in the queue, please do not refresh your browser or you will be pushed to the end of the line.
• When completing your ticket purchase, stay within one browser window or you risk errors.
• You are only allowed to purchase four tickets per account or code. 
• Have your valid credit card info on hand for a smooth and faster checkout. 
• Remember: access does not guarantee tickets due to limited availability. They are sold on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last.

SingPost outlets

You may also physically queue at any SingPost outlet islandwide in the hopes of scoring tickets to the concert. However, fans have formed snaking lines since Thursday, and SingPost has advised that you're unlikely to secure tickets if you're beyond the 30th position in line. Our advice? Channel your efforts into the online sales.

Performing for a total of six nights, the international icon is having her “The Eras Tour” at the National Stadium in March 2024.     

UPDATE 30 June 2023: Prices have been announce, ranging from $108 to $348, with additional VIP packages available.

Among the many countries where Taylor Swift is holding “The Eras Tours”, Singapore is the only South East Asian stop. This means Swifties from around the region won’t want to miss out on the chance to catch her concert that is happening from 2 to 4 March and 7 to 9 March 2024 at National Stadium.

As a cherry on top, all the shows in Singapore will even feature Sabrina Carpenter as a special guest. 

Ticketing details 

Mark your calendars as the presale ticketing for the concert is happening on 5 July 2023, 12pm for UOB cardholders via Ticketmaster. General ticketing will take place later on 7 July 2023, 12pm via Ticketmaster, and at all SingPost outlets. 

Ticket prices are as follows:

Do note that ticket pricing excludes booking fee, with the booking fee as follows:

We’re only a few weeks away from Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour concerts in Singapore and so we decided to create a concise, detailed, and simple-to-understand guide for all Swifties who will be watching her at the National Stadium on March 2, 3, 4 and 7, 8, 9.

Keep reading to learn what to expect and what to prepare for the concert!

1. Time, Location, and How to Get There

The Eras Tour in Singapore will be held at the National Stadium. Commuting via MRT to the venue is highly advisable as traffic might build up throughout the day. The closest station to the National Stadium is CC6 Stadium  accessible via the Circle Line (yellow). Other nearby stations are CC7 Mountbatten (yellow/Circle Line) and EW10 Kallang (green/East West Line) which will take approximately 18 minutes to walk to the National Stadium. You can check Google Maps on which station to go to that will easily take you there.

Gates and security checks will open at 4 PM . Although seats are all reserved, it’s still best to be there around that time or earlier if you want to take a lot of photos or trade friendship bracelets with others since many Swifties will be queuing.

The concert begins at exactly 6 PM with Sabrina Carpenter performing as the front act (approximately 30 minutes). Taylor Swift will then take the stage at around 6:45 PM . The concert will run for 3 and a half hours (44 songs).

2. Bag Restrictions

As of writing, there are no instructions about bags needing to be clear/see-through. Just make sure that your bag doesn’t exceed 35 x 20 x 30 cm (14 x 8 x 12 inches) , i.e. too large to be stored underneath a seat. Pack light, Swifties!

3. What to Bring

The following are a must to pack in your concert bag!

• Empty water bottle (there are water stations around the stadium for you to refill it when inside)
• Hat or collapsible/pocketable umbrella (to protect you from the heat of the sun!)
• Cards and cash
• Alcohol or hand sanitizer
• Hand fan or portable fan (you need to stay cool!)

If you’re planning on wearing boots or heels, you may want to bring extra slippers just in case your feet will hurt by the end of the night.

Binoculars are also said to be allowed as long as the size isn’t larger than an A4 paper.

4. What NOT to Bring

The following are prohibited in the venue:

• Outside food and drinks (there will be food booths there but it’s still best to eat a heavy meal as prices may be expensive)
• Non-collapsible umbrellas
• Noisemakers and musical instruments
• Flags or banners larger than 1 x 2 meters that have not been pre-approved for the event
• Placards with offensive words and advertisements
• Fansigns bigger than 21 x 29.7 cm or 8.3 x 11.7 inches (A4-size)
• Professional photo or video cameras
• Selfie sticks, gimbals, tripods, and monopods
• Anything resembling weapons
• Laser pointers and drones
• Glassware, cans,
• Bicycles, skateboards, skates, scooters, helmets
• Chairs and stools
• Animals other than trained assistance dogs
• Helium balloons and other inflatables

If you end up bringing a prohibited item, you may either be denied entry or be required to deposit them at the deposit counter for a non-refundable fee of SGD10 (~PHP 416) per item.

It’s unclear if concert attendees are allowed to bring in small film cameras and Polaroid cameras but just to stay on the safe side, leave them at home or your hotel.

Security will also not check your IDs before entering the venue so there’s no need to bring your passport. If ever, just take a photo of it and save it on your phone.

5. Ticket Printing

Printed and electronic tickets must be presented at the gates. Print-at-home tickets will be issued two weeks before the event date. Do not bring just a screenshot of your ticket.

There are enough restrooms around the Stadium (approximately 1 every 2 gates).

Water coolers are located:

• between gates 3 and 4 (level 3)
• between gates 15 and 16 (level 3)
• behind sections 109, 117, 122, 128, 134, and 142 (level 3)
• behind sections 410, 416, 435, and 441 (level 4)
• behind sections 608 and 609 (level 6)

You can buy water at level 3 between gates 22 & 23 and 10 & 11.

8. Merch Booths

Lines at the merch booths will be long so it’s best to line up a day before or after the date you’re watching, or be there super early, so you don’t stress out about the time. Also, prepare to make contactless payments via Visa, Mastercard, Paynow, ApplePay, Samsung Pay, and GooglePay because the booths might not accept cash.

Merch booths will also have varying operating times. Again, it’s best to come in early so you can secure the merch you want. Take note that these merch booths are open to all, even those who don’t have tickets to watch the concert.

9. Other things to know

Livestreaming of the event is strictly prohibited.

Taylor Swift adds three dates to her The Eras Tour stop in Singapore in March 2024

Taylor Swift must’ve heard about the commotion that Coldplay was causing here, because not long after the band announced their sixth concert date at the National Stadium, the American singer-songwriter has first announced that she too will perform in Singapore in 2024 for three nights on 2, 3, and 4 March as part of her The Eras Tour . If you didn’t manage to get your tickets then, good news because like Coldplay, she has also announced an extra three dates in Singapore, on 7, 8, and 9 March 2024.

If this isn’t fantastic news for Swifties here, we don’t know what is. Her concert in Singapore will be only one of two stops in Asia, the other being Tokyo. It’s been a hot minute since she was last here too; her last stopover in the Lion City was in 2015, as part of her The 1989 World Tour .

Other new destinations announced include Melbourne, and Sydney in Australia, as well as London, Milan, and Amsterdam in Europe.

In Asia, Taylor Swift will head to Tokyo, Japan from 7 – 10 February 2024, before stopping in Singapore, where she will no doubt perform to a very packed stadium in March, with special guest Sabrina Carpenter.

The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter has had an amazing tour around the US so far, performing despite heavy rain on a few occasions. The singer’s keyboard even reportedly started playing notes on its own during Red (Taylor’s Version) after being damaged in the rain on Saturday in Massachusetts. The Eras Tour was designed to be a recap of all ten of Swift’s studio albums, presenting each as well, an era with its own sets, costumes, and energy, so expect lots of new songs and old.

Taylor Swift adds three more concerts in Singapore, which remains the only Southeast Asian stop of The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift has added three more shows in Singapore for the Asia leg of the Eras tour, bringing the total number of concerts she’ll play in the Southeast Asian city-state to six.

On Sunday (June 25), concert promoter AEG Presents Asia took to social media to announce the new 2024 tour dates, added due to “overwhelming response”. On top of the existing March 2-4 shows, she’ll play three new concerts from March 7-9. All Sabrina Carpenter . Singapore will be the tour’s only stop in Southeast Asia, per AEG Presents.

Fan registration for the general on-sale has begun here and ends 12pm local time on June 28. UOB Cardmembers pre-sales, which have a limited number of tickets available, kick off from 12pm local time on July 5 until 9am on July 7. General tickets will go on sale from 12pm local time on July 7 via Ticketmaster . Only access code holders will be able to purchase tickets in this general on-sale.

“We encourage all fans to register now until 28 June, 12pm (SGT), including UOB Cardmembers, for a chance to purchase tickets during the General On-sale,” AEG Presents said.

Buyers are limited to purchasing four (4) tickets. Tickets that are illegally resold may be rendered invalid, with refusal of entry. Ticket prices have yet to be announced.

Prior to Singapore, she will also perform in Japan from February 7 till February 10 at the Tokyo Dome. Carpenter is not slated to support these dates.

Swift’s Singapore shows come as part of larger announcement of international Eras Tour dates that include stops in South America, Europe, the UK and Australia.

Taylor Swift announced the ‘Taylor’s Version’ re-recording of her third album, ‘Speak Now’, revealing it onstage during the Nashville stop of her ‘Eras’ tour in May. It is set to arrive on July 7, with Fall Out Boy and Paramore’s Hayley Williams confirmed as featured guests.

She last released her latest album ‘Midnights’ in October 2022. The record scored a four-star review from NME ’s Hannah Mylrea, who wrote: “After a foray into a different sonic world, on Swift’s return to pure pop she still shimmers.”

In November 2015, Taylor Swift performed a pair of concerts at Singapore’s Indoor Stadium as part of her ‘1989 Tour.’

Now, nine short years later, the 14-time Grammy winner is back for six (!) ‘Eras Tour’ shows at the 55,000-seat Singapore National Stadium.

Swift’s six gigs will be split up over a pair of three-gig stints; first, the “Lover” singer is slated to deliver the hits on March 2-4, then, after a two-day break, she’ll return to the stage on March 7-9.

As expected, demand is high to catch Tay live in the Lion City.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $300 USD before fees on Vivid Seats.

Other shows have seats starting anywhere from $328 to $550 before fees.

While that may sound expensive, keep in mind, many of Swift’s 2023 U.S. concerts had tickets regularly going for over $1,000.

Plus, when all is said and done, it’s hard to put a price on seeing arguably the biggest pop star in the world at the top of her game live.

The Eras Tour in Singapore: A price breakdown

FROM March up to December, Taylor Swift is performing in several different countries for “The Eras Tour.” She was set to visit parts of Asia for the tour as well, such as Japan and Singapore. Sadly, the Philippines didn’t make it to her list despite the thousands of devout Swifties leaving here.

Nonetheless, Filipinos still found ways to see the artist live. How? By flying out to her concert, of course.

Many Filipino celebrities such as Andrea Brillantes, Anne Curtis, and Kathryn Bernardo were quick to head out to see Swift, posting their fit pics and concert videos to their respective Instagram stories. 

A number of Filipinos did the same, as well. It was even found by Klook that 10 million users globally were queued online for tickets to Taylor Swift’s concert, with Filipinos accounting for 10 to 15% of the ticket bundles sold in Singapore. 

On Klook, the cheapest bundle for Taylor Swift’s concert – inclusive of two concert tickets and a one-night stay at a four-star hotel – was priced at PHP 30, 000.

Isy’s experience

For her stay, 21-year-old student Isy Velasco spent an estimated total of PHP56,000. After spending a total of four days in Singapore, breakdown for her spending is as follows: 

• Ticket – PHP 33, 000
• Airline ticket – PHP 18, 000
• Pasalubong – PHP 5, 000

Luckily, Velasco didn’t have to worry about accommodation expenses because she was able to stay at her relatives for free. 

She says that she wouldn’t have done it for any other artist – only because it was Taylor Swift. And yes, the money spent was all worth it. If she were given another chance to see the artist live, she’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

Velasco has been a fan of Taylor Swift practically her entire life; she’s been listening to the artist since she was in elementary, through every era she’s been through.

“Ever since I was a child, it’s been a dream of mine to see Taylor Swift live, [but] every time she goes to the Philippines for a concert, wala akong chance because I was still young,” Velasco explained.

“So I had this promise to myself na once magkaroon ng chance na makita ko yung mga favorite artists ko when I get older, I’ll definitely grab [it.]”

The first song she ever heard from the artist was “Love Story.” At the time, she and her family didn’t have internet yet, so her father burned it onto a CD along with a few other songs just so she could listen to it. 

Immediately, she was hooked, even writing down the lyrics word for word just so she could memorize them.

As she grew older, the artist’s lyrics continued to resonate with her.

She stated: “She’s a really great storyteller; iba na yung resonance ko with her songs [now] dahil kino -consider ko na yung emotional depth. When you listen to her songs kasi , it feels like she cries with you, laughs with you, loves with you. Her songs make me feel things.” 

Velasco’s trip to Singapore, however, was out of complete impulse. She admits that she forgot to set a budget because, in the first place, she wasn’t even sure if she was gonna be able to grab a ticket. 

“ Sabi ko nalang sa sarili ko: this is a once in a lifetime experience, so ikeri na ,” she recounted.

“But full disclosure: may savings [ako] from my business na nakatabi [na] allotted for traveling talaga this year, and wala pa akong plan that time kung saan ako pupunta, so might as well hit two birds [with] one stone.”

This was also Velasco’s first time out of the country, and she was all on her own on the way to Singapore. 

On the day of the concert, Velasco admits that she was surprised she even made it 30 minutes before the gates were opened. She commented that everything – from arriving at the MRT station to entering the venue – was a breeze. 

There were no issues of waiting in line or sitting out in the heat; they were let in on time, with food and water readily available inside the venue. Taylor Swift’s show then proceeded to start on time, with Ssabrina Carpenter opening for her. Overall, Velasco described the experience to be magical.

“I felt like nag -meet lahat ng eras ng sarili ko during the concert, and it was a life-changing experience,” she explained.

“ Masaya sa feeling na nabigyan ko na ng chance [ yung ] inner child and inner teen self [ ko ] na maka -attend ng concert sa ibang bansa. ”

Christina’s experience

20-year-old student Christina Margaret Mendoza, like Velasco, has been a fan of Taylor Swift since she was a kid. For her trip, she spent a total of PHP 20, 000.

“It’s always been my childhood dream to see her live,” Mendoza shared. 

Singapore was relatively easy for her to travel to, and she was drawn in by the setlist – a mix of songs from all her albums, with each set arranged according to each era of her life, unlike in other concerts that just play songs from whatever album they’re promoting. 

She added: “It was a once-in-a-lifetime event that I couldn’t miss.”

When she was young, Mendoza would often watch MYX and MTV before school, and whenever she found a song she liked, she’d rewatch its music video over and over on YouTube while singing along to it. On top of her list of bangers were “You Belong With Me” and, of course, the iconic “Love Story.”

For her trip, Mendoza only had to allot her allowance toward food, transportation, as well as pocket money. Her accommodations and concert ticket were taken care of by her family. In total she spent about ten days in Singapore, allotting about SGD 50 for her daily budget.

On the day of the concert, she was a few minutes late, so she missed Sabrina Carpenter’s opening. Added to that is the fact that as someone rather petite, she didn’t have the best view from where she was seated. And to top it all off, it started raining right after the concert.

Despite these hiccups, though, the whole concert felt like she’d been sucked into the Eras Tour movie. 

She shared: “We got the mashups [of] “Foolish One” with “Tell Me Why” and “This Love” with “Call It What You Want” as our surprise songs. The energy of the crowd was highest when she performed her hit songs, but it got a bit quiet during the pandemic albums like “Folklore.””

She continued on to talk about her experience; people dancing all throughout Folklore, exchanging friendship bracelets with one another, recording themselves singing, and overall just having a fun time because of how well-organized the entire event was. 

Mendoza adds, though, that she sacrificed a lot just to be able to see the artist, and we aren’t just talking about money. 

“I initially regretted it because the timing of the concert was so bad [because] it coincided with my exams, but I pushed through,” she explained.

“I went through all the hassle, cried a lot of tears, and stressed myself to the max, [but] looking back, I can say it was worth it, [and] I’m really glad I went. All that money can be replaced, but I’ll never have that opportunity again.”
