ARRIVE PHOENIX - SCOTTSDALE

Howdy folks. Saddle up for a ride from Phoenix to Scottsdale, spending the afternoon at leisure before your journey kicks off with an evening shindig to meet your new travelling pardners.

western adventure tours las vegas

SCOTTSDALE - SEDONA - WILLIAMS

Stampede through the landscapes of Sedona for your choice sightseeing, traversing Red Rock Country by jeep or Red Rock Magic Trolley. Then on through Oak Creek Canyon to Williams, where we'll Connect with Locals and enjoy a Be My Guest dinner hosted by the mayor.

western adventure tours las vegas

WILLIAMS - GRAND CANYON RAILWAY - GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK

Cut dirt and board your caboose to the Grand Canyon passing the vanilla-scented Ponderosa Pines and through the Kaibab National Forest. Tales of Old West legends are brought back to life as they travel with you along the rugged landscapes. We arrive at the UNESCO-listed Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Walk the rim and learn from a Local Specialist how this extraordinary feat of nature developed over the past 40 million years.

western adventure tours las vegas

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK - MONUMENT VALLEY - LAKE POWELL

Start your historic passage to Navajo country with a mesmerising sunrise over the Grand Canyon. Trace the Desert View Drive route toward Cameron Trading Post in search of traditional Native American crafts and the taste of traditional fry bread. We board our open-air vehicle, bouncing past the imposing mesas and buttes rising up from Monument Valley's red valley floor toward a lakeside resort tucked into the red rock at the scenic family holiday hotspot of Lake Powell.

western adventure tours las vegas

LAKE POWELL

Even cowboys need a day off now and then, but if you're at a loose end, choose to take an optional float down the Colorado River, cruise on Lake Power to Antelope Canyon, or spend the day learning how to wakeboard, kayak or zip around Lake Powell on a ski tube.

western adventure tours las vegas

LAKE POWELL - ZION AND BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARKS

Polish those chaps for a ride toward Zion Canyon, tracing yet another great natural triumph by park shuttle or on foot. Bundle up your brood for a quick hike to the Emerald Pools - the lush landscape a veritable oasis for pioneers traversing the desert just days before. Drive the scenic Mount Carmel Highway admiring the sweeping views of waterfalls and slick rocks, watching out for more spectacular formations like the Great Arch of Zion and the distinctive Checkerboard Mesa. The red-orange-pink hued hoodoos of Bryce Canyon are your final stop for today.

western adventure tours las vegas

BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK SIGHTSEEING

Take your seat in an amphitheatre of tall sandstone spires-the same vantage point Paiute Indians used to admire the colourful carvings of Mother Nature by day, by night, winter and summer centuries ago. Explore the rim of Bryce Canyon, before spending the afternoon at leisure to blaze your own trail. Our adventure through the Old West almost at its end, we get gussied up for a Western Farewell hoedown filled with good food and fun.

western adventure tours las vegas

‘There’s no curse’: Tszyu dismisses Vegas hoodoo

In a shock fight week twist, Kostya Tszyu won’t be in Las Vegas for his son Tim’s world title blockbuster against Sebastian Fundora this weekend.

Kostya had been expected to jet in to Vegas on the morning of the bout, having not been in attendance for one of his son’s fight since his 2016 debut.

But logistics made his trip impossible.

“He’s got his own schedule he works to and to get out of Moscow via somewhere else, in the space of a day – and there’s been delays every day – and I’ve got a sense it just might be too hard,” Tszyu’s manager Glen Jennings told this masthead.

“There’s a slight window that he might come, but I’ve got a sense that he won’t come.”

Speaking from his Split-T gym base as he winds up training camp, Tszyu took the news in stride.

“Everyone always asks, but I don’t see it as a big deal,” he said. “I’m not really used to him. The last time I saw my dad (at a fight) was when I was 21 years old.

“Times have changed and I’ve done my career with Igor and we’re used to each other. That’s why, if dad does come, it’s a bit different.

“I’m not used to it.”

Tim says Kostya was a menace in the crowd for his pro debut, and jokes that’s why he’s never been invited back.

“While we have great respect for Kostya, even him coming could have been a distraction for Tim,” Jennings said. “We don’t bring any distractions in.

“It’s just full focus.”

Tim Tszyu's relationship with his legendary father Kostya is complicated. Every time he enters the ring, he's not just fighting his opponent. A fascinating and brutally honest insight from the Australian boxing superstar via @1bbradfo https://t.co/IynDxjVnOr — CODE Sports (@codesportsau) November 16, 2021

Meanwhile, Tszyu claimed Fundora’s “chin has gone”, questioned whether the American was wearing high-heeled boots during their first face-off to make himself appear even taller, and took a crack at his fashion sense.

Fundora was being fast-tracked to a world title before he was knocked out in dramatic fashion by Brian Mendoza last April.

Most pundits believe Tszyu’s best chance of winning is to attack Fundora’s body, but ‘The Soul Taker’ says his stunning KO loss to Mendoza has left him vulnerable elsewhere.

“When you lose your chin, you lose your chin,” Tszyu told this masthead. “It’s something you can’t bring back.

“He got his head knocked out and I plan on doing the same thing.

“You get knocked out like that, and it’s definitely not healthy. When you get knocked out like that, your chin is vulnerable and you’re not the same fighter as you were. That’s just facts and simple science. People aren’t the same.

“Hopefully it’s something I can exploit – I had to thank Mendoza for ironing that out.

“But I’m quite well-rounded, I don’t just bring one type of shot. It’s not just to the body, it’s a bit of everything – I can do it all.”

Tim Tszyu takes on the Towering Infermo on Sunday in Las Vegas. Picture: Louis Grasse/Getty Images

Fundora dwarfed Tszyu when they met face-to-face in Vegas late last week, with the 20-1-1 southpaw enjoying a (21cm) height advantage.

Tszyu brushed off concerns about the height difference, even questioning whether it was as pronounced as it appeared.

“He was wearing high-heeled boots – that’s all I noticed,” he said. “He was wearing cowboy boots, that’s just his fashion sense – I don’t think the clothes suit him.

“Height doesn’t bother me.It’s gonna be awkward at first, but it is what it is.”

The unification bout will be Tszyu’s first fight in Las Vegas, and second in America, following in the footsteps of his dad, Kostya, who enjoyed his greatest successes in the States.

Tim has fought in Australia 22 times, and in New Zealand once, but doesn’t see himself fighting Down Under again any time soon.

“One hundred per cent,” he said when asked if America was his new fighting home. “I was watching the press conference in Australia the other day and was thinking it’s different.

“This is the big time, and when you get a taste of this, it’s addicting.

“You just want to keep progressing and going further. The goals and aspirations just keep going up and up and up.

“Once you conquer this land, you just want to keep going and going.”

A proud Sydneysider, Tszyu ruled out a move to live in America.

“Nah, I’m Aussie through and through – I’m never leaving Australia,” he said. “ … Except for Italy.

“I might be sipping a cappuccino on the Amalfi coast one day.”

Tim Tszyu’s camp have ramped up plans for a $38 million superfight with the pound-for-pound champion of the world.

After a nervous wait, Queensland’s heartbreak kid Liam Wilson has got confirmation he will be fighting for a world title this weekend.

The height of Tim Tszyu’s opponent in Las Vegas is one challenge to overcome, but the ‘curse’ is another. Not that it concerns the Australian boxing star, with his focus firmly on Sebastian Fundora, and no future multi-million dollar bout can distract.

Yellowstone & Rocky Mountain Explorer

A wonderful trip, full of variety and interest. The National Parks were all beautiful, well maintained and a credit to the Parks Service. The Grand Tetons Park was a happy surprise. I hadn’t heard of this park before this trip and it was just spectacular. Our guide, Chris, was so good humoured, accommodating and went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a good time. Will definitely recommend this trip to everyone I know

What an amazing experience we have just had with Infiniate Adventures. We have done many group trips of this nature and it’s always difficult to chose a provider - so much depends on the tour guide. As Infiniate Adventures is a small company you deal directly with the owners at all times and they are determined to make each and every passenger’s experience individual and special. Dave and Tory (and Mike!) have buckets of energy, fun, enthusiasm, knowledge and calmness - they made EVERYTHING exciting and fun … even the drives - which were planned to be minimal, informative and were interspersed with stops to explore - the music was great too!! The range of activities on offer in each area were extremely well thought through, planned and catered for every interest. We would travel anywhere with this company - knowing that wherever they go it will be extremely well thought through, planned and fun from the moment you board the magic bus! A HUGE thank you to Infiniate Adventures for creating such amazing memories.

I had a great time on this trip. The group was really friendly and great to travel with, as was our guide. We covered a lot of ground in two weeks but it still felt like we got to see all the major sites in each place. Good accomodation and activities included in the tour. Would definitely recommend this tour if you’re looking to travel round the West Coast of America.

It was a nice tour. The itinerary was good, perhaps have more time at each site. Pace quite rapid sometimes, just the time for photos. At the same time there was so much to see, the only way would have been to lengthen the trip which was already long. I would recommend this trip.

4 day Alaska Seward Camping Adventure from Anchorage Tour

4 day Alaska Seward Camping Adventure from Anchorage

Amazing experience with Bindlestiff Tours! WOW - so much daylight! Especially in June!! We were a party of 4 - mom, dad and kids (teenage) traveling from Minnesota. This was our first trip to Alaska - and one of the first ""group"" trips we did in this style with the kids. We enjoyed integrating our kids into this way of travel, along with other travelers, in such a beautiful nature settings. It was really a hit - our kids LOVED the guide (Joe) - he was young (20's) and energetic and kept them entertained, and they loved helping with daily tasks around camp. About the tour - really inclusive and packs a big punch for 4 days! The daylight into midnight was really wild - we are happy we listened to the great packing list Bindlestiff provided (telling us to bring eye masks) - they really help! This tour company is awesome. They know what they are doing, and we always felt prepared from day 1 meeting the group and guide. Tons of sites on this tour - but our favorite was hiking to the Harding Icefield on day 1. We had good weather and had a clear shot of EXIT glacier - and even hiked in a little bit of snow! A big thank you to our guide and Bindlestiff for the organization and effort that goes into these trips. We are thinking about coming back next year for the 11-day Interior AK tour - it looks great!

I went to visit the west coast for a few weeks from Ireland and took in lots of different tours and trips. This tour was by far the highlight of my trip. The scenery was amazing obviously but the way we wrre guided by Kate was right up there. She was so considerate, knowledgeable and patient. Also so much fun, she really made the tour for me. Such a cool girl. Have mentioned inca specially to all my friends living in SF because of how much better the trip was due to Kate.

We have chosen the tour specifically because it was in German and also in other languages shown. Also on our voucher was again confirmed the tour with professional, German-speaking tour guide. Unfortunately, the tour guides did not speak German. We were able to help ourselves a bit with the translation app but we also missed a lot of information. We are very disappointed about this and expect compensation. The tour guides have tried and were very nice also the tour was very nice.

Mesmerizing Grand Tetons! I've been with Bindlestiff before and they did not disappoint the second time! Grand Tetons was mesmerizing and I am so glad I got this done through Bindlestiff!
Jump on the bus with Infinite Adventures for a magnificent Alaskan expedition! Dave and Tory are excellent guides and will keep you informed about the areas you visit and give expert advice. I found this to be a truly joyful experience!
I highly recommend Infinite Adventures in general and this trip particularly. If you want to see the best of Alaska you have to join the team and their bus, In 20 days I have seen more from Alaska than I would ever have expected. Dave and Tory are amazing and I would travel with them any time. 5 stars all the way!!!
