- A visit to one of the most impressive Mughal architecture in history, the Taj Mahal, is a must see. Built of shimmering marble, this mausoleum was commissioned out of love by Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife.
- Visit Humayun’s Tomb, built in the 1500’s for Emperor Humayun by his wife. The structure is built entirely of gorgeous red sandstone with white marble peeking through. This mausoleum is what inspired the construction of the amazing Taj Mahal.
- Ride along on a camel back for the best way to travel through the deserts of India. Spending a day here is amazing, but being able to see the stars at night is absolutely breath taking. There are also a few festivals in the desert areas; Pushkar’s Fascinating Camel Fair and the Jaisalmer’s Desert Festival.
- Dive into the Indian culture by experiencing a one of a kind festival called the Durga Puja. This is one of the largest cultural and religious festivals filled with loud noises and bright colors. Other fantastic festivals to look out for are the Diwali, Ganesha Chaturthi and the Kumbh Mela.
- Take a chance to explore the native flora and fauna in the 70 national parks, 17 biosphere reserves and over 400 wildlife sanctuaries that all reside in India. Look out for the Indian tiger and the Asian elephant that can still be found in certain regions.
- Explore the temples that can be found all over India, 108 to be exact, including the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium. This enormous structure can hold over 10,000 people leaving an amazing impression of the village of Mayapur.
