Staff super friendly. The hotel was very nice and comfortable

rue gregoire de tours paris france

Grand Hotel de L' Univers far exceeded our expectations staying in Paris. The location is fantastic. There are multiple bars, restaurants, cafes right around the corner from the hotel and it is within walking distance to the Seine, Musee D'Orsay, the Louvre and Notre Dame. There is a metro station about 0.5 mile away at Notre Dame which made getting to Versaille easy. Ubers and taxis also are easy to call to the hotel for transportation. The hotel was clean, the staff were warm and friendly and always willing to help out with anything that we needed. They cleaned our rooms daily and the rooms were magnificent! There was no view really from the windows, but that didn't matter because the beds were comfortable, the rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were well furnished. We even had breakfast downstairs one morning and it was delicious and had everything one could want from a Parisien breakfast. I cannot say enough good things about our stay! We would 100% stay again.

rue gregoire de tours paris france

Lovely French feel to this boutique hotel. We loved it. Fantastic location for restaurants and galleries. Short walk to the Metro and sights. Couldn't be better.

rue gregoire de tours paris france

We loved everything. The location is perfect and central. The metro is easy walking distance. The rooms are lovely, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. Our room was very quiet and we could have the window open all night. The staff were welcoming and friendly

rue gregoire de tours paris france

This cute little hotel is perfectly located just off St Germaine and a quick 10 minute walk to the Louvre. Our room was spotless and the people at the front desk were always cheerful and helpful! Although it is very close to a very lively street around the corner the room was always quiet at night. There is a small grocery store around the corner and several bistros and bakeries within a block of the property. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Paris!

Loved the ambience. Really nice decor. Amazing location! Very clean!

Convenient location, with many restaurant options very nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly.

location was tops. first night's room was small and nosy when upstairs room toilet flushed. breakfast was only ok, only ate once

Centrally located to many sites in the historical district. Rooms small but cozy. Size is expected for Paris.

Terrific location, close to so many cafes and boutique shopping

Excellent location!

How guest reviews work

Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.

You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.

We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

  • Politically sensitive comments
  • Promotional content
  • Illegal activities
  • Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
  • Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
  • Spam and fake content
  • Animal cruelty
  • Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
  • Any violation of our review guidelines.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

An accommodation can reply to a review.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Visited here for our last meal in Paris. The setting is beautiful, staff are so helpful and the food was excellent. It isn’t cheap but you get what you pay for The waiter from Genova was fantastic and recommended some great food for us (the... truffle cheese) More

Dear Katherine, Thank you so much for your very nice feedback :) We will share it with all our team :) We hope to see you again very soon ! Best regards, La Grande Crèmerie

Great food, there were two of us and we originally ordered three small plates at the servers suggestion and he helped us selected a very good wine pairing. The food was so good, mortadelle ravioli, fresh salad with roquette, spinach, cherry tomatoes, apple slices, radishes,... and pomegranate, and foie gras. It was so good that we ordered two more small plates, truffle infused sausage and the ricotta and spinach ravioli. We have been in France for two weeks, and this was the best meal we have had. Service was impeccable, knowledgeable, friendly, and appropriately attentive. Help was there when needed, but it was all very relaxed. The ambience was great as well. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly. More

An amazing find in St. Germain, Paris! We stumbled in the other night just for a drink. Had amazing champagne, wine and beer! Came back tonight for dinner after meeting the owners. You will not be disappointed! The Stracciatellla di Andria was an amazing starter... followed by Jamón Puro extremmafuta, the finest ham in the world, paired with the Ravioli Ricotta di Buffalo & Epinards. Don’t miss this find! Excellent!! More

We dropped spontaneously in this place and were welcomed in a great personal and stylish atmosphere. The food and drinks are of an outstanding quality. The service is chilled but very aware of customers expectations. We would highly recommend the bistro for upscaled after work... drinks or having a perfect start in the Paris night life - more chilled than „pre-party“. The very personal service outweights the small disadvantage of not having an open air area. In a nutshell: Highly recommended!! More

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They were patient with our bad French and helped us figure out what to eat. The food was amazing, and the wine they selected for us was one of the best... Pinot Noir’s we’ve ever had. Would highly recommend you try them out! More

Very nice modern décor. Menu is a selection of tapas to share and some bigger dishes. The food is excellent, quality ingredients. Nice wine selection both by the glass and bottle. Very friendly service. Quite popular, reservations recommended.

Dear Seat_13c Thank you very much for your so kind return about our wine bar :) We really hope to see you soon ! Best regards, La Grande Crèmerie

We’ve been in love with this place since we get in. A warm place in which you can find elegance, good people, singular food, researched wines (natural or conventional) and fantastic workers! I had the pleasure to know Edouard (super wine expert) and Gabriel, a... super sweet and prepared girl. They made me feel at home fastly. I advise to try ravioli with mortadella & pistacchi with parmesan… word of an Italian restaurateur. Ferdinando More

Classy and beautiful little restaurant, a casual feel, with a Select but perfect menu of Italian/French food. Really high quality ingredients, great service (handled my broken French very well!) and a great atmosphere. Loved it.

This store was a MUST visit when I decided on traveling to Paris. If you love Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry you will adore this magical little store! I think I spent half an hour looking at all the amazing Little Prince items. This little shop has books, journals, bookmarks, mugs, dishes, scarves, shirts, postcards, stuffed animals, bags, toys, figurines, cards, pictures, baby bibs, cookie cutters, key chains, onesies... Anything and everything Little Prince! The owner is super friendly and very nice to talk to. The music is calming, the shop is orderly and well stocked. This was the best store I've visited my whole trip in Europe! Next time I'm in Paris, I'll visit again for sure! I can't recommend this lovely little store highly enough- just visit you'll be so glad you did!

It may look unassuming and plain from the front, but this place is magical!!!
