27 themed pavilions conveying over 90 different cultures will enthral you. Some are modelled after iconic structures and landmarks of a country, so photo-ops are going to be plenty. Others recreate the bustling bazaars and streets of their cities with traditional wares – from decor and clothing to street food, jewellery and spices. All pavilions regularly hold cultural performances and folk dances on their own stages. You’ll witness Omani folk dances and flamenco from Spain salsa all within the same hour.

2. Carnaval

The theme park element at Global Village is packed up neatly inside the Carnaval area with 170 gravity-defying rides and over 125 arcades and skill games. You’ll know how to find this fun zone thanks you all the shrieks and screams of delight as well as the flashing lights.

From carousels for the little ones to stomach-churning rides like a giant wheel and roller coasters for adrenaline junkies, you can find it all here. Make sure you walk down Road of Asia for authentic street food, ingredients and food products from 13 Asian countries including Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Nepal, Bhutan, Philippines. The Chaat Bazaar section is a hub of spicy samosas, burst-in-your-mouth pani puris and other Indian delicacies . The innovative and unique Museum of the Future in Dubai is an exciting new addition to the Dubai skyline. Listed as one of the most innovative structures in the world, this futuristic museum is poised to become one of the most exciting tourist attractions in the city. It gives visitors valuable insight into the future of human technology and innovation with practical exhibits, amazing installations and unique inventions that are yet to be introduced to the world population. At the Museum of the Future, you can get a glimpse into the human potential – and what the world could look like a few decades down the line. Along with the exhibits, the very structure of the museum is reflective of its innovation – where a portion of the building was made by robots. The exterior is defined by massive steel panels with Arabic inscriptions, which makes the museum as distinctive as other iconic structures in Dubai including the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Frame. You can explore 7 floors of fantastic installations and exhibits that let you imagine a world several years in the future. It is also a wonderful place for children to familiarize themselves with technology and its unending potential. Museum of the Future encourages visitors to ask imaginative questions such as “What would a world where robots take care of the elderly, look like” and “Can AI help humans get superhuman powers like running faster than usual?” All these aspects of the Museum of the Future will allow you to transport yourself to the future and experience a world that is as yet, inaccessible to most of mankind. It is a one-of-a-kind experience that is impossible to find anywhere else in the world, one which will make your trip to Dubai a truly life-changing experience. Here is the Design and Architecture of the Museum of the Future Dubai:The Museum has been constructed by Killa Designs using the latest technology in design and construction. AI and robotics technology have been used to precision-cut almost 1000 moulds that make up the unique exterior of the museum. The shape of the museum represents the sky and the earth, inspired by Feng-Shui philosophies. One of the most distinctive features of the design is the Arabic calligraphy that is carved into the steel paneling, which are all quotes from the Prime Minister of Dubai talking about the future of the country. There are 7 levels which are connected by an elevated walkway that leads to the Metro Station, and also a bridge that links the museum directly with the Emirates Towers.Experience The Visual World By Booking: Museum of the Future Tickets

Cultural Gate at Global Village

Global Village started in a small site along Dubai creek in 1996. Back then as well, the idea behind the event was to showcase everything the world has to offer. Since it was just the beginning, the site only had small kiosks, representing different countries. Even with no fanfare, the event was able to attract more than 500,000 visitors during its first year! Since then, there was no stopping the festival. By 2004, the event featured 38 participating countries and attracted over 5.20 million visitors!

Global Village Dubai is celebrating its 28th anniversary! Global Village Dubai 2023-24 is scheduled to go on from October 18, 2023 to April 28, 2024. The event is going to be bigger and better than ever before with brand new pavilions, countless new shopping outlets and more surprises! Last year, Global Village offered visitors about 40,000 entertainment options and activities. This year it promises to only get bigger! It has also been awarded a 'Dubai Assured Stamp' that emphasizes on their commitment to the city's strict public safety standards and measures.

The World before you.

It has been a tradition of visiting the Global Village from when we were living in Dubai years back. You have the whole world in front of you to shop from different countries, experience different cultures and taste food from these countries. Also many rides, games and shows. It's like an amusement park. But go early in the evening and spend few hours. Good public transport to and from the venue.

We tried so many different food stalls because each dish was special and the taste was amazing. Visiting every country and seeing its culture and watching all the non stop shows and musical dances was amazing. Can’t wait to go again and again. Thank you Dubai ❤️

The best place to go to in Dubai

This is the greatest place I've ever seen. Amazing and probably one of the best places to go in Dubai. Really enjoyed everything inside from the food to markets from all over the world, truly incredible and visually a great place to look with all the lighting.

Fun night out with the family at Global Village

We had so much fun here. So much to do, so much to see and it's a really fun night with the family. Entrance fee is cheap but you have to pay for everything inside (food, rides etc) and it is not cheap. But overall it was worth it and this is our second time in Dubai and the kids always want to go back to global village. Closest parking is the paid parking and it is AED120 per entry.

Spectacular. If you are in Dubai, don't miss global village. Absolutely amazing Global village is one of the most spectacular places I have ever seen. It has something for everyone. From young children to adults. Fairgrounds, markets, eateries and spectacular sights. Not to mention the motor City stunt show. This alone is worth the trip. Do not miss it. All prices are very reasonable. And the taxi que when leaving is incredibly efficient.

I love this place. Cheap to get in and then spend hours walking dozens of pavilions representing the culture of various countries. You can buy food, clothes and souvenirs whilst watching traditional music and dance. The architecture and lighting is just brilliant. We try and come here when in Dubai.

Dubai's Global Village, the region's leading multicultural family destination, concluded Season 26 on May 7, 2022. The tourist attraction has welcomed a record-breaking 7.8 million guests since its opening on October 26, 2021.

As the UAE became one of the most sought-after destinations with millions of tourists visiting Expo 2020 Dubai, Global Village brought together an exciting line-up of shows, festivals, events and live concerts.

Longest season ever

Due to popular demand, the park extended Season 26, allowing guests to enjoy Eid Al Fitr festivities for the first time in its history. Village was open for 194 days, four days more than its previous record, making it the longest season ever.

Bader Anwahi, Chief Executive Officer at Global Village, said: “Global Village has been a unique cultural destination for guests from across the globe for more than two decades; we are proud to contribute to cementing Dubai as a global hub for entertainment and tourism.

Anwahi added: “We also strive to contribute to the economy by supporting local entrepreneurs and attracting international businesses to Dubai. This year, 60% of our partners were new to Global Village, which keeps our offering fresh and our guests coming back season after season.

Digital transformations

Aligning with the Global Village’s commitment to cashless payment, more than 94% outlets accepted card payments this season. Guests welcomed the added convenience with contactless payments witnessing an increase of 300% during Season 26.

The park aims to reach 100% of outlets offering cashless payments in the upcoming Season 27.

Global Village also saw a whopping 700% increase in online ticket sales, with its user-friendly mobile application and website delivering a superior guest experience. The park introduced new features in its user-friendly mobile app to help guests beat the queues, enjoy exclusive offers and get the most out of their visit.

Extensive offerings for all audiences

Guests at Global Village could let their taste buds travel the world at over 200 F&B outlets and a new Railway Market inspired by Thailand's world-famous 'Umbrella Market', with 14 train carriages hosting over 30 vendors from Asia and around the world.

Dragon Lake was the stunning new backdrop for the ever-popular Floating Market which overlooked a 20-metre-long fire-breathing dragon.

Over 400 artists from around the world presented over 40,000 performances during the season.

New family members, The Wonderers, took to the stage for the first time. Waleef, Zoya, Ozka and Aiyah starred in their own show, Legend of the Staff. The Kids theatre rocked with character shows and the Main Stage was home to over 10 new Global Village productions. The park also hosted renowned international shows Burn the Floor, Swing Latino and Aainja.

The Global Village Concert series returned in Season 26 with a diverse line-up of spectacular live concerts by international artists including Assala Nasri, Tamer Hosni, Saad Lamjarred and British chart-topper Anne Marie.

The region’s first water-based stunt show, Harbour Force, wowed crowds with a 75ft (23m) high dive tower, jet-ski fire-jump, double fly-board action stunts and record-breaking LED cars. Thrill seekers also enjoyed over 170 electrifying rides, games and attractions at Carnaval, which also got a fresh new look this season.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! introduced 100 new exhibits and a Chamber of Horror to the Odditorium. The 4D Moving Theatre starring the Monster family had everyone sitting on the edge of their seats whilst the Marvellous Mirror Maze featured over 100 mirrors, LED lighting, and digital sound upgraded with immersive water and Augmented Reality features.

A season of celebrations

The Village welcomed thousands of guests over National Day weekend as the UAE celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Festivities continued into December with celebratory mainstays, holiday shopping and treats from around the world. New Year’s Eve celebrations continued beyond midnight with musical fireworks and cultural performances aligning with the start of the 2022 at eight different destinations around the globe.

In February, the park rang in the Chinese New Year with wishes for health, luck and prosperity for the Year of the Tiger. Festivals held this season also included the now renowned “Kids Fest” and the brand new “Happiness Street Fest”.

Top performers from five continents performed for its first ever Street performance festival.

Season 26 was extended to bring the finest traditions of Ramadan to Global Village with Majlis of the World offering a one-of-a-kind experience with a vibrant atmosphere for gatherings with family and friends. With a special line-up of events, shows and décor for Eid Al Fitr, it was the perfect destination to celebrate with loved ones.

Global Village will return on October 25, 2022, with a host of new experiences.
