Halal food is unavailable on Syrena Cruise. You can order vegetarian or other special diets such as gluten-free, dairy-free, non-seafood, etc.

No. Syrena Cruise does not have a family room. Each cabin is suitable for 2 adults and a child under 6 years old. If your family has more members, the cruise operator will arrange next-door cabins for more convenience.

If you book a 2-night program, Day 2 includes a trip to Bright Cave in Cat Ba Island area. However, it is a tranquil area for kayaking or taking a bamboo boat. You will not disembark and get on the island.

Syrena Suite is the only cabin type including a tub in the room.

The jaw-dropping scenery in Halong Bay should not be missed! It is definitely one of the best places I have ever visited and cruising is highly recommended! About Syrena Cruises, the staff were very polite and attentive to passengers, but some needed to improve their English. The food was a little bland to me, but was well presented and the services really made up for it. I suggest the cruise should also improve the cabin quality, since some parts were a little old and A/C did not work sometimes. Overall, thank you for this wonderful experience and I would love to come back one day!

Despite being a small boat, Syrena Cruise is great and very comfortable when it comes to accommodations and activities. We enjoyed the shared lounge and expansive sundeck, very spacious and pleasant for large groups of friends like us! We took the 2-day tour and to be honest, I feel a bit rushed. The destinations were incredible, but make sure you are fit enough to climb the Ti Top Island. The panoramic view was breathtaking and would be worth your efforts. Sunset and sunrise on Halong Bay were amazing! I especially loved the cave visiting, it was so thrilling and the atmosphere in the cave was cool and pleasant even in summer.

We are a group of 5 friends traveling in June. I must say the weather was really hot and the A/C did not work well as we expected. But the staff were very supportive and always wanted to help, thanks all! Food was amazing but the portions were inadequate though. Overall, it was a great trip and we really enjoyed the breathtaking nature and culture of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay!

One of the best vacations we have ever had! We loved Halong Bay, it was absolutely spectacular. A wonderful journey! Everyone was nice, hospitable, and thoughtful, especially Mr. Son and Mr. Thai! The boat ambiance was cozy and the rooms were clean and convenient. However, I must say some parts of the cruise needed improving as they were quite dated.  Also, there were some repetitions in the food for lunch and dinner, but every dish was very fresh and delicious. The brunch on the last day was incredible! You have to pay for the drinks though, it is not included. I would love to spend more time with the cruise, so I suggest everyone choose a 3-day tour! Overall, great trip and beautiful memories!

My partner and I booked a 3-day tour with Syrena Cruise and they offered such great activities and places. Halong Bay was beautiful but a little crowded, especially when you stayed the night beside so many other boats. We loved Lan Hay Bay because it was much more tranquil and private. If you want to try all the activities, you will not have time to relax since the cruise is filled with experiences, but it is really up to your choices. We highly recommend kayaking and swimming at the beach! The view was excellent! Overall, we were very satisfied and pleased, thank you so much !

I love Halong Bay, it is marvelous and there are many things to do, we are so happy about that! Syrena Cruises were very friendly and the staff were helpful and willing to help, which made me feel like home. We were impressed by the activities, everything was wonderful: cooking demonstration - spring rolls, early morning Tai Chi classes, happy hour,... However, I must say the water was polluted and some places were quite crowded, which was understandable due to the popularity of Halong Bay, but we should protect the environment!

• Leaving International Tuan Chau harbour, discover the Halong Bay – natural wonders of the world. Have lunch with special foods while cruising through famous sights Ba Hang fishing village, Đỉnh Hương island, Chó Đá islet, Gà Chọi islet…
• Cruises stops at Bồ Nâu cave, the core area of the world natural heritage. Transfer by tender to Surprise cave – one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
• Leaving Surprise cave, transfer by tender to the Titov island was named by Uncle Ho, after Gherman Stepanovich Titov – the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climb to the top of the island to see the breathtaking view of magical Halong Bay.
• Back to the cruise. Relax and enjoy sunset on the sun deck. Go to the overnight place.

Day 2: Halong Bay - Hanoi

• Morning call (if you request).
• Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to Luồn cave.
• Enjoy light breakfast in the restaurant (coffee, tea, fresh milk, water, pastries, bread, egg, fresh fruit, cereals will be served in the dining room).
• After breakfast, take a guided tour to visit Luồn cave – .one of the cave open to the form beautiful about endemic the vegetation of the Halong Bay. Visit Luồn cave by a traditionally woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman.
• Come back to Syrena cruise, relax and check out of cabin. Please put your luggage outside the door. Our porters will collect and get them ready on the Pier for you.Finally, the cruise disembarks in International Tuan Chau harbour.
• Enjoy brunch buffet menu served in the dining room. Settle bills in the dining room after brunch (if you have).
• Transfer by tender back to Tuan Chau harbour and disembarkation. Farewell to guests.

When visit Vietnam, you should put Halong Bay Cruise tour as number one. 3 hours drive from Hanoi or 170km. Warm welcome at the port and go by small boats to the cruise. Started our itinerary with a marvellous lunch, followed by visiting a surprising cave and then Ti Top island with good time for swimming. Happy hour, cooking demonstration and then enjoy a nice dinner. Overnight in cruise and second morning started with Taichi lesson, light breakfast, visit floating village and back for a nice brunch. A 2 days 1 night full program with wonderful staff and captain. Enjoyed every single minute. The only problem is Wi-Fi is very very weak.

Awesome and friendly

We had the 2 days tour with this amazing cruise!From the very first moment of welcoming to the last moment of saying goodbye that was not even one single moment the beautiful crew stopped smiling!They are amazing people and always offer the best service! We were really pleased with this tour and our lovely young tour guide Dah ( hope spelled his name correct! ) Really clean and neat cabins, awesome food. about an hour before getting off he boat, we were supposed to have light brunch but honestly what they generously offered was a complete yummy lunch! Thank you crew! We really appreciate your had work!

We have just finished a 3day/2night cruise with Syrena and it was unforgettable! If you are looking to cruise Halong Bay you must pick this cruise. Syrena has everything you want for your trip. It is organised, clean, has the perfect mix of activity and chill andthe staff are absolutely amazing-worth their weight in gold.The boat is in very good condition, probably the nicest boat we saw on the whole trip. The cabins are better than some hotels we have stayed in. Worth to pay alittle extra for a balcony room. The activities range from caving, kayaking, swimming, bamboo boating, pearl farms oh and the infamous squid fishing (I don't think anyone ever catches anything tho!). In the evening there is plenty on board to keep you entertained and the morning starts with thai chi! You will not go hungry whilst on board, plenty of faultless tasty food to keep you happy! The drinks are alittle pricey though.Mr Big (cruise manager) and his team especially Miss Linh and Mini Minh are exceptional. They will go out of their way to ensure you have a great time even find the football results whilst in the middle of no where! I was sad to leave and would highly recommend to anyone. Enjoy!

Stunning scenery

Well worth the 3-4 hours drive from Hanoi to join the boat. Crew friendly & efficient & food plentiful. Cabin has all you need & is very clean with en-suite shower room. Deluxe cabins have small balcony with table & chairs. Top deck is a great place to relax & watch the world go by & has a 360degree view. Cooking demo before dinner is very informative & hilarious when you try it yourselves. Excursion to Surprising Cave & the beach for swimming are worth doing as is the visit to a floating island. Only 17cabins on board Syrena 2 which means it isn't too crowded or noisy like some of the other many ships offering similar trips. Return transfer can be arranged with cruise & is well worth it. We had 2 different drivers & both were very nice , helpful & extremely competent at he drive.

Glad I went on this cruise.

Very friendly staff. Good spread for all meals. I love that they have a mix of western and local cuisines at breakfast and lunch. Dinner was a 13-course. The food was generally tasty. Program was nicely spread out - visit to the Surprising Cave, floating village, pearl farm, optional kayaking etc. And I had ample time to just hang out at the deck, with a book and a drink, which is priceless. Sunset was lovely and so glad I had the room with balcony. Room was clean, including the toilet

Everything was great

We booked two nights on this Halong bay tour boat. It was great. They picked us up at our hotel in old town, Hanoi and drove us to Halong Bay. We had an English speaking guide, he met us at the dock and he was very attentive and informative. We boarded the boat and were assigned our room, headed out into the bay, had a great buffet lunch on the way. The bay is spectacular, very beautiful. We anchored and spent the afternoon, being rowed around a fishing village, visiting an oyster farm, pearl farm, then to a beach, then back to the boat for happy hour and another wonderful meal. The rooms are very clean, fairly large for a boat, with nice ensuite full bathrooms. Beds are very comfortable, large windows too. The decks are well kept with lots of furniture. The staff was very helpful and friendly. On the second day we went to the Surprise caves, what an amazing place, easy to understand why unesco has named these one of the wonders of the world. The entire trip was well worth doing, we would highly recommend this company, they are also very attentive to safety, ensuring everyone wears life jackets when on the smaller boat and going over all the safety rules. Food was very good as well.

I enjoyed very much. The food was high class. I visited the Cave stalactites. I attended a cooking workshop. I visited a floating village. The training was excellent. Ship comfortable, spacious, beautiful rooms. Was excellent.

You must see yourself

This cruise is a must do! I will come again for a longer cruise. The food is absolutely amazing, with different menus/buffets for every meal. The tours are interesting and the views are absolutely stunning. Mr big (Tien) makes this trip, his English is excellent with a great sense of humour and a seemingly endless supply of legends and information on all that you see.

Good experience on a beautiful location!

My two children (ages 8 and 9) and I took a couple of days out of our trip to Hanoi to do an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. It was one of the best experiences! The ship is beautiful - not too big so it feels very private but big enough to have the conveniences you need. Our room was beautiful and we were on the second floor so we had a nice balcony to sit on and enjoy views of the bay. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the food was excellent and we enjoyed the cooking demonstration one night where we got to learn how to make spring rolls. The little trips off of the boat were enjoyable too - we went through a cave, stopped on an island where the kids got to swim and play on the beach, rowed through a fishing village and stopped at a pearl farm. Overall I'd highly recommend this trip to anyone!

A perfect experience

We took a night in the Syrena to view the halong bay. The ship is very convenient, not too big but it is still private, the room was beautiful with a lovely bathroom. Food serves was super delicious. Service was very pleasant and did its utmost, all they promised was delivered 100% and more. Highly recommended.

Enjoyable trip

My tour operator had booked me on the Syrena for a two-day one-night Halong Bay cruise. I thoroughly enjoyed being on the boat. With just twenty odd guests on board, it was not crowded at all, when I compared it to some of our neighbours in the bay. The pick up from my Hotel in Hanoi was dot on time, and it was a very comfortable three and half hours on the road. Once on board, the safety briefing was thorough, cabins were tidy, and lunch was great. Food was a high point of this cruise. Plus the staff were ever smiling, and ever helpful. Highly recommended !

Great service and accommodation.

The crew were very welcoming and accommodating; and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The crew - particularly the cruise manager, Ngan - went to great lengths to make sure all our needs were taken care off. The ambience was great, perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. My only complaint is that the the food was not consistent. While the lunch and farewell lunch was great, dinner was average at best. Also, the ship could do with some touch up paint as parts of it showed signs of rust. Other than that, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Magical Halong Bay, beautiful cruise

Our cruise on Halong Bay was absolutely wonderful. Mr Big and his staff on board the Syrena Cruise were all so friendly and it was a fantastic two days. The meals were lovely and the rooms extremely comfortable. Happy hour and the cooking class on the top deck was very enjoyable. The visit to Surprise Cave and Titop Island was great. Just being in Halong Bay is an experience you will never forget.

Great trip to Halong by overnight on Syrena Cruise. I booked deluxe cabin with balcony. All facilities in cabin as 4* hotel room, view from my cabin is amazing.I loved set menu dinner with fresh seafood. The cruise manager was helpful to guide us the activities on board. Thank you. Our English Speaking Tour guide had introduced us amazing Sung Sot Cave. She is knowledgeable.Thank you all, keep moving good work.

Incredible experience!

You will not be disappointed when you book with Syrena.We were picked up promptly from our hotel and took to the coach. The drive was quite long but there are stops and Halong bay is well worth it! Firstly the staff, were absolutely incredible! They were approachable, friendly and knowledgable and really engaged with the passengers. Mr. Big (Dai) the tour manager was magnificent ! The boat, we had the deluxe double with balcony. Room was clean and comfortable and the view was stunning! The first day was a little misty and foggy but still beautiful! Next, the food.. Wow ! We were fed like kings and queens! There was so much food! And not only was there large quantities but the quality was great!!! I only wish we stayed longer than 1night! Look no further!!!

Great experience with friendly and attentive staff

We had a great experience on the Syrena. The staff were fantastic with Linh being super supportive and always there for us. While giving Linh a special mention, all the staff were very friendly. The boat was very clean and you could see that staff worked hard to keep it that way. All activities were run on time as the staff kept to a tight schedule. The food was plentiful and ok and we could not complain considering having to prepare everything on the boat. We loved Halong Bay and we would recommend visiting it at least once in your life.

A wonderful cruise

Going to Vietnam and going to Halong Bay is unthinkable. I think one of the best moments of our vacation was the time we spent on the Syrena ship. The cabins are large as I expected. The beds were comfortable. The balcony was delightful. The shower section is also large for a ship's cabin. The food was delicious. 2 days and 1 night we went on a cruise on our ship, we climbed mountains, fed monkeys, sunbathing on the beach and a hundred. We made Tai Chi on the deck in the morning. The scenery is awesome ... fascinating. Syrena is a clean, fairly new, well-maintained ship. The staff are also helpful and friendly. I'd rather stay in Syrena for a few days. One night came to us not enough.

It was a small but pretty cruise in Halong Bay.Truly fantastic and to remember for a lifetime. Very helpful staffs. Traditional buffet lunches and dinners. Excellent breakfasts.Weak Wifi on board (although the on-board staff provided me with an access password that did not work everytime).Excursions on well-organized itself, the only flaw is the strong smell of naphtha.

Smiles and friendliness

We did the one night cruise in the bay ... They are very well organized ... The staff came to pick us up at the hotel in Hanoi in the old quarter ... They were all very kind and helpful .. Always smiling .. .the rooms are clean and each room has its own terrace ... The meals are plentiful and the food is good .. The days were very active .. Very nice was the demonstration of cuisine and tai chi in the morning ... the staff is very young but with a great desire to do and improve ... Music in the evening ... In conclusion, great experience.

Dai, the tour guide really excelled and surpassed our expectations, the ship was clean and our room was really good with an amazing view from the balcony, a really confortable and clean bed. food was really nice and fresh and bar prices were reasonable compared with hotel prices. All activities were carefully planed and executed on time; Dai, was really useful and funny making the trip more enjoyable. All the crew were really nice.

Excellent organization

2-day tour around the islands of Ha Long.Excellent organization, good food, very comfortable rooms (huge shower) interesting excursions.The weather has also given us the grace of 2 warming days.Ms. Ngan has been careful and able to handle every situation. There was a Taichi class on the terrace at 6:00 in the morning which was very rewarding. Thank you!I have managed to fish even a squid ...

We have all seen the pictures and it does meet expectations. The boat was great our suite just lovely with great ensuite, balcony, floor to ceiling windows to watch the view. The food is great and abundant, the trip on the tender to the caves and the beach for a swim great. Next day the caves by sampan. The highlight sunset with a cold beer or cocktail, squid fishing at night or cooking lesson on the top deck, all wishes catered for. Just go and enjoy!

From the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped back at our hotel, this experience was really enjoyable. we choose the 3 day, 2 night package and were not disappointed. The trip from Hanoi to Halong bay was 3.5 hours but we we travelled in a luxury coach to the boat with wifi - making it so much more easier! The staff here - managed by Mr Thuan - were all exceptional and very professional. The boat was in superb condition - clean and spacious, with our room (Deluxe cabin) also really impressive. The bed was big and comfy, the bathroom was a really good size and our balcony was perfect for a glass of wine whilst taking in the sights of Halong Bay. Each day we had an itinerary of the day's events and these were really enjoyable. From kayaking, cave visits, swimming in the sea, cooking lessons, film night, fishing off the boat - we were not bored at all. All the food was freshly prepared by the on board chef and was very tasty. Each meal was buffet style and more often than not couldn't finish it all as there was way too much! We had two cooking classes whilst on board and they were fantastic as they took place during the Happy Hour so everybody got involved and had a good laugh. Would definitely recommend this to others looking for a professional and enjoyable experience!

Halong bay is spectacular and the only way to do it should be with the overnight stay on the boat. I was not particularly looking forward to this trip due to all the negative hype, however the trip blew me away and I was so glad I decided to go. I would absolutely recommend Syrena, the staff were some of the most lovely I have encountered in Vietnam. Food was plentiful. Top floor room with own Balcony was very special. Amazing experience overall. Thank you all at Syrena Cruises.

We took the 2 night cruise with Syrena Cruise travelling as 2 couples. All the staff were amazingly happy and very attentive. Prior to boarding, the reservations lady (Rosie) was extremely helpful with all our queries and requests. She responded to all emails within 20 minutes. When we requested quiet cabins towards the front of the boat she accommodated us with no issues. The food was good, although some dishes were a little unusual (Ostrich to name one). If you are not a seafood eater than you should consider that seafood is a big part of the local cuisine. However they were very accommodating for other travellers who advised before hand of their dietary requirements. Happy hour was great value with buy 1 get one free! The tours were good. The second day with the caves was a highlight. The first day cave is very touristy with lights installed all the way through. Whereas the second day was much more authentic. The itinerary is jam packed but as it was only 3 days this was not really an issue for us. One downside was that on our second day, we were the only 4 people doing the 2 nights. As such, there was a bit of a delay waiting for our tender from the day boat back to the cruise. The boat is a little old but all sheets and towels were very clean and the rooms tidy. As to cleanliness there was sometimes the smell of cigarette smoke coming from the staff of the lower level. All in all a great experience and really the only way to see Ha Long Bay.

Syrena Cruise offers a multitude of choice regarding facilities and amenities on board. There are two room types: Syrena Suites and Syrena Deluxe cabins. Cruise itinerary

Get on our bus for a drive to Halong (if you book our transfer). The long trip is much inspirational with a lot of stunning view of Vietnam’s countryside. Reach the harbor by noon.

Dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese fusion cuisine. Then, the rest of the night is for a wide range of entertainment such as: movie night, board games or squid fishing with our crew members.

The day begins with a morning Tai Chi class on the sundeck. After having light breakfast, the cruise transfer to Luon cave. Here, your sport spirit would be challenged with exploring the area. In return, wonderful scenery o thousand-year old stalagmites are what you may expect.

Come back to the vessel after around 1 hour and prepare your luggage for the way back to Ha Long. Enjoy brunch buffet served in the dining room while the cruise ship is heading back to Halong harbor. Arrive at the harbor by 11:00 an get on the car to travel to Hanoi. Tour ends.

Get up with a cup of coffee or tea while contemplating the stunning view of the sun rising over the bay. After breakfast time, transfer to small rowing boats and start kayaking further into Lan Ha Bay. Arrive in Dark and Bright cave area and kayak around for 45 minutes. Then, come back to the day boat by noon and have lunch.

Sail to Ba Trai Dao Area. You have a chance to sunbathe and swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in Lan Ha Bay. Later, day boat proceeds to Halong Pearl Farm and stops by there for a visit. Here you can watch the process of growing pearl oysters and how the locals collect them. Return to Syrena Cruise at around 15:30 and join other onboard activities such as Happy Hour, Cooking class, watching sunset, etc.

Enjoy deluxe buffet dinner in the dining room. Then light the night up with a wide range of team building activities.

Pick up and drop off in Hanoi was smooth. The view was breathtaking. The schedule onboard was a bit tight. The staff was friendly and went the extra mile to accommodate our request. Thanks for a memorable experience!

The crew did a good job. The food was nice and our cabin was comfortable. Although the interior was outdated a bit, it was not a big problem since we enjoyed the food, activities, and the view. Kayaking was fun and the view at Titov Island was unbeatable. Thank you!

As usual, travelers stay overnight at hotels in Hanoi Old quarter's Area at night before, then we pick up  around 8am - 9am  in the next morning (Transfer from Hanoi to cruise harbor might take around 2-4 hours, depends on tours' class you book).

Travelers also flight from south of Vietnam/ Overseas to airport (Hai Phong airport, Noi Bai airport, Van Don airport) then do cruise on the same day, we can arrange for you transfer from airports directly to cruise harbors and join cruise but make sure u book early flight before 8am - 9am - 10am. The name halong came from the legend that a dragon landed on this bay. The view is wonderful. Each one of scattered islands gave me wonderful photos. My trip was just a day trip and I think it is too short. Spend at least one night. Yes photos of ha long bay are stunning, but you will be more stunned if you actually go there and see them with your own eyes..

Halong Bay was Visit on our Cambodia/Vietnam tour, we were very lucky to have our own guide and Junk Boat with crew.The Bay is such a beautiful place, we had a wonderful time spending all morning on the boat with lunch cooked for us.Halong Bay is certainly a must Visit if touring North Vietnam, fully recommended..

The views of the limestone islands in the Bay are stunning, especially if the weather cooperates. Strongly encourage one night on one of the many boats that ply the bay to allow for a less hurried itinerary and the very pleasant experiences of sunrise and sunset views. The boats are highly regulated and must stick to designated areas, but they are enough for lots of enjoyment. Various stops at caves, lookouts, kayaking, and small beach. Very good food on board our cruise with A-Class Stellar Cruises! Cabin was much cleaner and more "luxurious" than I expected..

Took the float plane both ways to save time. We only had one day and this was the best way to spend it. Thoroughly recommend the organisation we went with..

2 night 3 day cruise with v spirit, highly recommend, magic site even though we didn't go far into the bay. Lots of other boats at times added and detracted from the experience. Halong Bay has been a dream of mine to visit for so long. It was breathtakingly beautiful and I could never get tired of the views! The colours and layers of all the cliffs and mountains are spectacular. Just make sure you find the right cruise - ours was overpriced and not worth it so do your research first! Also don't be surprised that there are a large number of boats around at night as they all park up together, but during the day we seemed to be on our own quite a lot. I think in the future this place won't be so nice as there is already so much rubbish floating around that it will continue to accumulate. Save this place by not littering and taking any rubbish back with you that you can..

This area has been a World Heritage Place among seven wonders of nature since 1994. What a beautiful spot on earth. A Halong Bay with its breathtaking beauty was undeniable and it is the most popular site to visit in Hanoi. There are many other things to do pay on the bay as well, like caving many many caves to choose from. Very helpful and informative and fun as well. If by overnight cruise, you can kayak by yourself to discover the bay, the cave more exciting..

the local village tour to Muong Hoa valley, Lao Chai and ta Vun village were worth for a visit. They also arrange a free taxi from our hotel in Sapa town to cable car station for us to visit Fansian peak..
