15 Best Day Trips from Mumbai

Mumbai is a sprawling, monstrous city that seems to be constantly expanding and almost never-ending.

It’s a place of history, culture, and too often, mayhem as well.

While the city is a must-visit place during any trip to India, the size, scale, noise, and pollution of Mumbai can be all too overwhelming, all too quickly.

Luckily, the city does end, and in the surrounding area – outside the urban mass of apartments and suburbs and slums – you can easily escape Mumbai for the day to find some peace and refreshing, clean air along the way.

There are plenty of interesting day trips to make – from exploring ancient Buddhist caves to adventuring into India’s very own wine region.

There are beaches, waterfalls and national parks to discover, amongst much, much more.

Here are our favorite day trips to make from Mumbai.

1. Elephanta Caves

Elephanta Caves, Mumbai

The Elephanta Caves are a spectacular and intriguing UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s found just a short journey outside of the city center of Mumbai.

The caves are found on Elephanta Island – located in the Mumbai Bay – which was used as an important religious site by Buddhists and then Hindus.

The caves are cut from the rock itself.

Inside the many different, ancient caverns can be found an array of sculptures and inscriptions that depict Hindu epics and deities.

Even today, the caves are a place of worship and pilgrimage for many Hindus in the Mumbai area, and you can expect to experience a colorful display of culture and religion when you visit.

Recommended tour : Half-Day Mumbai Elephanta Caves Tour

Jain Temple, Nashik

Nashik is located a few hours to the northeast of Mumbai and makes for a wonderful day trip away from the city.

This is an area of rolling hills and lush, green valleys.

Importantly, though, Nashik is also India’s premier wine-producing region.

Although many visitors may not be expecting to find fine wine when they visit the country, in Nashik, they are guaranteed to be pleasantly surprised.

Wine production here is a relatively new art form, but already the locals of Nashik are competing with the biggest international players.

There are several wineries to visit, with the most popular being the Sula Winery – is the nation’s largest and most well-known domestic wine producer.

You can call in for tastings and to see the vineyard in action.

Available tour : Nashik: Private Full-Day Wine Tour with Tastings From Mumbai

Murud Janjira fort, Alibaug

Alibaug is found overlooking the ocean to the south of Mumbai.

There are great connections – by road, train or ferry from Mumbai – making this the perfect place to spend the day.

Alibaug is known for its variety of beaches and unique seafront; surrounding the town are many stretches of sand – from black sand beaches to extreme tidal areas.

A favorite tourist spot is the Kolaba Fort, which is built a few kilometers out from the shore; it has long played a historic role in the region.

Spend the day enjoying the sights and lounging on the beaches, but make sure you stay for the sunset before returning to Mumbai, as the sunsets over Alibaug are some of the most beautiful on the coast.

4. Matheran

Matheran Hill Station

Matheran is a small hill station that has become one of Mumbai’s most loved day trips.

Matheran, in stark contrast to Mumbai, has been declared pollution free.

This charming hill station has banned all cars, and being 88 meters above sea level, offers a much-needed respite from the humid, polluted city below.

To get here, you must take the train, as no private vehicles are allowed in the town itself.

There are many other forms of transport inside the town though, from handcarts to rickshaws, but really, the best way to get around is to hike along the spectacular trails that offer dramatic viewpoints out over the surrounding green, landscapes.

5. Kanheri Caves

Kanheri Caves

Just to the north of Mumbai’s center, you can find the historic Kanheri Caves.

Located within the boundaries of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, this is a vast complex of over one hundred caves, many of which have been shaped and carved by hand over centuries into the shape they are today.

The area was originally used by Buddhists – as far back as the 1st century BC – and then Hindu worshippers added their own layers of sculpture and worship to the caves.

A lengthy, rock-hewn staircase leads to the cave entrance, which you will find is impressively pillared and hewn straight from the rock itself.

It’s a mammoth feat of engineering that will leave you bewildered and humbled.

Recommended tour : Kanheri Caves: 5-Hour Excursion from Mumbai

Karnala, India

Karnala is a small area of protected land that’s found extremely close to the city of Mumbai, making it an excellent location to escape the chaos of the city and find some small level of solitude.

Karnala is home to a bird sanctuary, which, although very tiny in area – just a few square kilometers – is full of wildlife and greenery.

There are hundreds of species of bird that flock to Karnala, and many hikers and outdoor lovers are drawn here for the wild beauty too.

The sanctuary is found around the remains of an ancient fort that stands atop a huge pinnacle of rock, making for a dramatic sight.

The fort can be reached along a lovely trail that will take you through the bird sanctuary and to the top of the peak.

7. Pawna Lake

Pawna Lake, India

Pawna Lake is found close to the city of Pune, to the southeast of Mumbai.

It’s an excellent outdoor location, perfect for hiking, strolling, picnicking, or simply relaxing and enjoying the calm, tranquil waters.

Although it’s artificial, you will find it is still very much a beautiful, green and outdoorsy place to visit.

A favorite local hobby in the area is to bring a tent and camp out under the stars, to wake up to the lapping waters in the morning.

It’s definitely a place that’s worth a trip from Mumbai, even if it’s just for the day.

Aga Khan Palace, Pune, Maharashtra, India

Pune is another sprawling city, so if you are looking for a relaxing escape from Mumbai, then this might not be the best place to visit.

If, however, you are looking to experience one of the most fascinating cities in this part of India, then a day trip to Pune is very much worth it.

This is a historic place – home to the world famous Aga Khan Palace, a lavish display of wealth and power that dates back to the 19th century.

It’s also the site of the Gandhi National Memorial, where the great man’s ashes are preserved.

There are plenty of old forts and museums to visit, while there is a real mix of ancient culture and modern India is visible across the city.

9. Lonavala

Lonavala, India

Lonavala is a place that’s really like few others near Mumbai.

This beautiful hill station is almost dream-like, with misty mountains and green rolling hills that stretch for mile upon mile.

If you arrive straight from Mumbai, the clean air and cold climes will shock you as much as the spectacular landscapes do.

There’s plenty to do in the hill station and the surrounding area, from visiting the ancient cave system of Karla to the dramatic peaks and cliffs that can be hiked.

10. Khandala

Khandala

Khandala is another beautiful hill station that’s actually found just a few miles away from Lonavala.

This town is found at an elevated height, overlooking a scenic, green, and misty valley.

It’s a real favorite for those from the nearby cities who are looking to enjoy a spot of hiking; there are some great walking routes that lead to panoramic viewpoints.

Kashid, India

Kashid is found along the coast to the south of Mumbai.

This beachside town is a great place to spend the day relaxing on white sands and enjoying the sea.

This is a quiet spot – at least in comparison to Mumbai – and there are even a few resorts where you can get food or enjoy a drink, or spend the night if you really want a longer break from Mumbai.

Vasai, India

Vasai is a city to the north of Mumbai, found on the other side of the Vasai River.

The city is full of colonial relics, including the famous Vasai Fort, which was built hundreds of years ago by the Portuguese.

13. Silvassa

Silvassa

Found to the north of Mumbai, Silvassa is a unique city to visit; for years, this was a Portuguese colonial city.

There are still a lot of remnants of Portuguese rule, and a very distinct history waiting to be discovered.

The surrounding area has many natural wonders too, including some incredible waterfalls.

14. Rajmachi

Rajmachi, India

Rajmachi is an old ruined fort that’s found in a breathtaking location atop verdant, green cliffs.

The fort was an important defensive structure against the British when they began their conquest of India, but ultimately, it fell.

It’s now a protected monument and well worth a day trip from Mumbai.

15. Trimbak

Trimbak, India

Trimbak is a fantastically cultural town that’s found away from Mumbai, close to the nearby town of Nashik.

Trimbak is the site of Trimbakeshwar, a Hindu temple that holds an incredibly sacred place in the religion.

It’s very much an important pilgrimage site and held to be very sacred.

As such, the whole town is a culturally vibrant and exciting place to visit.

The Best Day Trips to Take From Mumbai

purple trips from mumbai

Action-packed Mumbai , India's financial capital, is known to be a loud and chaotic city that's overwhelming at times. As a result, it's natural to want to escape for a while. The best day trips to take from Mumbai offer adventure, nature, history, beach, wine and more. Here's where to go.

Just north of Mumbai, in the opposite direction to Alibaug, the beach town of Vasai feels more like Goa with its pervasive Portuguese heritage and peaceful palm-lined streets. Back in the 16th and 17th centuries, Vasai was much larger and more important than Mumbai—although, nowadays this is hard to believe! The remnants of historic Vasai Fort , which was the headquarters of Portuguese rule, is the main attraction and its history is fascinating. You can also marvel over ornate churches and ancestral homes (some of which are centuries old), visit a religious statue carving workshop (the statue makers have received multiple UNESCO awards for heritage conservation), and dine on delicious local cuisine.

Alibaug has always been a popular getaway from Mumbai, as it's a short ferry or speedboat ride from the Gateway of India in Colaba. However, it recently became even more appealing as a day trip destination after the opening of some hip new restaurants. The best of them is Boardwalk by Flamboyante at Mandawa Port . Situated right on the seafront, just a few steps from the jetty, you'll be able to kick back with a cocktail and feel like you're somewhere in the Mediterranean. You can even travel there in style, as one of the owners has a luxury yacht and packages are available (phone 99205-69772 for details). Alternatively, charter your own boat for the day! If you're going on a weekend, be sure to book a table well in advance.

Also at Mandawa Port, Beach Box is India's first container park, where old shipping containers have been turned into into fashionable boutiques set around an amphitheater. Kiki’s Cafe and Deli is another outstanding oceanfront option for dining at the jetty. It's open for breakfast onwards, for those who like to get an early start.

If you want to venture further afield, there are some interesting art galleries in and around Alibaug such as The Guild and the Dashrath Patel Museum. Another trendy place to hang out for the day is Bohemyan Blue.

Matheran is delightfully unique because it's the only hill station in India where vehicles aren't allowed. Situated about 2.5 hours east of Mumbai, it's an ideal place to escape the ubiquitous honking and city pollution, and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Getting there, by toy train or horseback from the car park, is also memorable. More than 35 viewpoints are dotted around Matheran, reached by walking tracks through the forest. For an extra dose of nature, stop by Saguna Baug Farm near Neral, about 35 minutes from Matheran. It offers an exceptional rural experience, with so many things to do that it's worth spending a whole day there for great family fun. Packages, including lunch, are available.

Adlabs Imagica

If you've got kids, they'll be thrilled with a day trip to one of India's top amusement parks in Khopoli, a couple of hours from Mumbai on the way to Pune. Conveniently spread across 300 acres just off the Expressway, Adlabs Imagica is made up of a theme park, water park and snow park. Oh, and there's a luxury Novotel hotel too, in case you want to extend your time there. The theme park has more than 25 rides for kids, families and thrill-seekers (including India's largest roller coaster). The novel 15,000 square foot snow park offers numerous activities, from toboggan rides to climbing a snow castle, in freezing conditions. You can also experience real snowfall. If that hasn't cooled you down enough, the 15 rides at the water park definitely will!

Paragliding at Kamshet

Love paragliding or want to give it a try? The oldest and best paragliding training school in India, Nirvana Adventures , is located about 2.5 hours from Mumbai in Kamshet near Lonavala. They offer 10-30 minute tandem flights during the paragliding season, which runs from October until the end of May each year. Fearless fliers can opt for acrobatics, for added adrenaline. It's wild! Nirvana Adventures operates from its base at Native Place guesthouse , a serene and arty place surrounded by an extensive garden.

Karla and Bhaja Caves

Although nowhere near as impressive as the Ajanta and Ellora caves in Maharashtra , the rock-cut Karla caves are noteworthy for having the biggest and most well-preserved Buddhist prayer hall in India. It's part of a Buddhist monastery with 15 other excavated cave rooms and apparently dates all the way back to the 1st century BC. Combine your trip to the Karla caves with the nearby Bhaja caves, and twin Lohagad Visapur hill forts. They're situated in the Lonavala area of Maharashtra, about 2 hours from Mumbai, and can also be visited on the way to paragliding at Kamshet. If you're particularly interested in ancient rock-cut caves, more can be found at Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai's outer northern suburb of Borivali.

Global Vipassana Pagoda

The glorious golden Global Vipassana Pagoda is an unexpected attraction in Gorai, on the northern outskirts of Mumbai, near Essel World and Water Kingdom (another popular amusement park). It's part of one of India's top Vipassana meditation centers . The pagoda been designed as a replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar. It's as tall as a 30 floor building, making it one of the largest stone monuments in Asia. However, what's even more remarkable is that the pagoda doesn't have any pillars and was solely built by volunteers over 11 years. Inside, there's a huge mediation hall for 8,000 people and some authentic Buddhist relics. Other attractions include a magnificent gallery of paintings that depict the life of Buddha. For the most peaceful experience, avoid going there on Sundays because it does get noisy and crowded then.

Wineries at Nashik

If you don't mind traveling and would like to explore India's biggest wine region, Nashik is situated about three hours drive northeast of Mumbai and can be done in a day. Many of the top wineries have tasting rooms and offer guided vineyard tours. Red Grapes conducts one day trips to Nashik, including three wineries plus the new Wine Information Center.

Long weekends can come and go, but you shouldn’t need a reason to take a break. 13 day trips to make from Mumbai

Distance from Mumbai: 83km Claimed to be Asia’s only automobile-free hill station , Matheran is a great day trip away from the din of the city. Vehicles go up till the nearby village of Neral, from where the popular toy train chugs up till Matheran. Here, idle by Charlotte Lake, which sits amidst a densely forested stretch, or trek up any of the multiple vantage points. Belvedere Point looks out to the Ulhas river below, while Garbett Plateau can be reached through a refreshing trek through waterfalls, villages with friendly locals, and lakes.

Distance from Mumbai: 120km Igatpuri is known to be home to one of the largest Vipassana meditation centres in India, Dhamma Giri. The hill station also boasts several stunning treks to spots like Karoli Ghat, Amruteshwar temple, and Camel Valley with its hidden waterfalls. You can also explore the Tringalwadi fort, camp in the wilderness, or go kayaking and rafting in the Bhatsa river valley. And if you’re willing, an hour beyond Igatpuri, Mount Kalsubai–the highest peak in Maharashtra–awaits you in Bhandardara.

Distance from Mumbai: 170km If you’re starved for time to plan a trip, Mulshi is the no-fuss getaway to pick. It’s where you can pick up an ebike for a morning ride, spend quiet evenings by the scenic Mulshi Lake or meditate under a tree canopy in the deep forest cover. Come monsoon , the hill station is decked with waterfalls, and a short drive further takes you to Tamhini ghat with its stunning views of a mist-covered valley.

Distance from Mumbai: 156km South of Alibaug, along the Murud-Janjira coast, the Murud Janjira fort appears to rise from the sea. The sea fort from the Nizam Shahi dynasty stands away from the crowds of more popular tourist spots. The ruined citadel still features three cannons from its 15th century origin, and is worth a visit for a trip down history.

Distance from Mumbai: 123km A scenic three-hour road trip from Mumbai , Kolad has made a name for its adventurous water sports–the village offers waterfall rappelling, bungee jumping and zip lining through the lush greenery of Kolad. Come monsoon, the Kundalika river swells up with raging currents, attracting adventure seekers for white water rafting.

Distance from Mumbai: 100km With pleasant weather and perfect winds, Kamshet is a paragliding paradise. But if extreme sports are not your cup of tea, you can instead explore the Bedse caves, a group of Buddist rock monuments at the end of a 400-step hiking trail that overlooks lush greenery throughout. For larger groups, the Uksan Lake with its panoramic views of the Sahyadri range makes for a great picnic spot.

Distance from Mumbai: 50km Birdsong greets you at the Karnala Fort Sanctuary, where magpies and flycatchers fly above the teak and kalam trees. A trek through the wild pocket leads you to the 14th century Karnala fort, which is divided among two levels. For the best views, make your way to the Pandu Tower at the top, which is a 125ft-tall basalt pillar that was once used as the fort’s watchtower.

Distance from Mumbai: 96km by road; 19km by ferry An easy day trip to make with the Ro-Ro service (which plies even during monsoon) from Mumbai to Mandwa, a quick morning-evening dash to this quiet beach town is probably what you need right now. Drive on to the ferry in your own car, explore Alibaug's beaches and coves, eat at the local restaurants Sanman and Aahar for your fill of hearty and wholesome fare. If you're feeling adventurous, carry your bicycle or running shoes and explore a new trail! Here ’s our pick of villas in Alibaug for every budget.

Distance from Mumbai: 62km A popular trekking destination, Karjat offers a variety of trails to explore that vary from amateur to expert levels. There's the Chanderi Fort trek, a three-hour walk from the base to the fort, but if that's too much, you can attempt the Sondai Fort trek that takes only 1.5 hours. Considering the rain the region receives during monsoons, the views are guaranteed to be spectacular. And if treks aren't your cup of tea, hike up to Kondana Caves–a group of 16 alcoves featuring sculptures and stupas with ancient Buddhist carvings.

Lonavala and Khandala

13 day trips to make from Mumbai

Distance from Mumbai: 79km Enjoy a long, green journey to Mumbai's favourite long-drive destination. In Lonavala, visit the original chikki master at Maganlal Chikki , get your fill of Cooper's fudge, check out Bushi Dam, Lonavala Lake or even Lion's Point. The Western Ghats are still green right now, so those pictures will be priceless. In Khandala, the Kune Waterfalls should allow you to recreate your very own Bollywood moment, but if that isn't a priority, drive up to Sunset Point or Shooting Point for a little picnic of your own. Here ’s our list of where to eat and order in Lonavala.

Malshej Ghat

13 day trips to make from Mumbai

Distance from Mumbai: 126km A 3.5-hour drive from the city, Malshej Ghat offers a bevy of options for those looking to cut loose. Look away from those screens and try some bird watching along the Pimpalgaon Joga Dam. The 5km-long Pimpalgaon Joga Dam is built over the Pushpawati River and is one of the main attractions at Malshej Ghat. Spot birds such as the Alpine Swift, Whistling Thrush, Purple Moorhen and Pied Crested Cuckoo. Not your flight of fancy? Hit the region's many trekking trails instead. Pick from the Ajoba Hill Fort, Darkoba Peak or the impressive Harishchandragad Fort that dates back to the 11th Century.

Distance from Mumbai: 166km The roads are good, so you may as well make the most of it. Drive out on a day trip from Mumbai to Nashik for some wine tasting at the region's many wineries. Head out to Beyond by Sula to sample its wines. You can even grab a cycle and explore the property. York Winery' s nine-acre estate is also open for a tour of the premises and wine tasting.

Enjoying white wine on a vineyard

Distance from Mumbai: 115km This artificial water reservoir offers a soothing respite from your hectic work routine. There's a wide variety of flora and fauna to be spotted around the lake, but if you'd like a more active break, trek to the nearby forts of Lohagad, Tikona and Tung. You can even carry a barbecue grill for an evening of smoky bites with a cool view, but be sure to clean up before you leave.

Splendid driver Mr. Sammu who we spent a beautiful time in the southern part of Incredible India driving on winding roads of Munnar and all Kerala. We took lots of wonderful photos and got lots of opportunities to get to know local life of people and get an insight in their lifestyle and culture. Mrs. Eve who we had a contact with was very responsive and friendly, always online to respond to our questions and requests. We're extremely satisfied and will recommend the services of this tour operator.

Best place for jungle safari in India from Mumbai Tour

Best place for jungle safari in India from Mumbai

Ultimate tiger safari in India from Mumbai, and it was an experience of a lifetime. The tour was well-planned and organized, and I got to see some of the most majestic creatures in their natural habitat. The tour started with a flight from Mumbai to Nagpur, where we were greeted by our guide who briefed us about the tour and the safety guidelines. From Nagpur, we took a private jeep to the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, which is located in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. As we entered the reserve, I could already feel the excitement building up. Our first safari was in the evening, and we were lucky enough to spot a tigress with her cubs. It was an incredible sight to see these beautiful creatures roaming freely in the wild. Our guide Mr.Krishna Sharma was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the tigers and their behavior. The next day, we had an early morning safari, and this time we saw a male tiger resting by a waterhole. It was a breathtaking sight to see this majestic animal up close. We also saw various other animals like deer, monkeys, and a wide variety of birds. The safari lasted for about 3 hours, and we were able to cover a significant portion of the reserve. Apart from the safaris, we also got to visit the local villages and interact with the tribal communities living in the reserve. It was a humbling experience to see how they coexist with the wildlife and their efforts towards conservation. We also got to taste some delicious local food, which was a highlight of the trip. The accommodations provided during the tour were top-notch, and the staff was very hospitable. The food was excellent, and they catered to all dietary requirements. The highlight of the tour was the night safari, where we got to see animals that are not visible during the day. We spotted a leopard, which is a rare sight, and it was a thrilling experience. The tour was well-organized, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to witness the beauty of these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. It is an experience that I will cherish for a lifetime.

All went perfect on India Luxury India Golden Triangle Tour that we hoped before booking it and enjoyed the sites and Highly Recommended

Premium India in Depth Tour

Premium India in Depth

Intrepid Premium India in Depth (November 13 - 25) Mumbai - Delhi Excellent tour leader along with very good local informative guides. 3 changes in accommodation; Mumbai - Gordon House Hotel is excellent, well priced and only 1 street back from Gateway to India but the company changed to Fariyas Hotel, Mumbai which was been renovated as well as painted so very noisy, couldn't use the pool and scaffolding all around. Definitely not ideal. Our second night in Delhi was also cancelled at Jaypee Siddharth Hotel though privately booked and paid for months before the tour so had to find alternative accommodation while on the tour and they told the travel agents they were "closed for renovations" however the tour was booked and stayed there and no renovations were occuring. Hadoti Palace Hotel in Bundi looked nice and rooms were big but not clean especially the toilet and shower. Otherwise all hotels were very nice and rated accurately; cleaning the showers/washrooms would have helped with the mouldy smell but that is somewhat consistent in most countries. November is the start of wedding season in India which are very loud and noisy and have no time restrictions so be prepared for that if going at this time of year. Tour involves quite a number of days travelling in a bus/coach for 4 - 6 hours with a stop every 2 - 3 hours. Rest stops are OK at best with only snack food to purchase. Adjusting the departure time would have helped with timeframes as quite a few days we were getting lunch around 2 - 3 pm when hotel kitchens were closed. Definitely not enough free time for shopping on your own with organized evenings most nights or in a venue on the outside of towns. Toured the markets but they were only a walk through with the group and no time to stop and shop. Restaurants and food was amazing and no one was unwell on the trip. 2 days in Ranthambhore Park was too long and could have done in 1.5 days with more time in Agra. Overall a very good trip for myself and my father (aged 79).

A Private Luxury Guided Tour to Golden Triangle and Varanasi (From Mumbai with Flights): Taj Mahal, Forts and Palaces and Jaipur, Varanasi Tour

A Private Luxury Guided Tour to Golden Triangle and Varanasi (From Mumbai with Flights): Taj Mahal, Forts and Palaces and Jaipur, Varanasi

We originally searched with TourRadar and determined that the 6 day Golden Triangle Tour offered by Adreva Trotter Pvt. Ltd. (INDIA Trotter) offered the best tour for our needs. However, with the time we had available (10 days), we contacted the company with the request for additional time in Delhi and a modification of the tour start/end dates as well as requiring the tour to start/end in Mumbai. The company was very flexible, designing a private tour specifically to our requests. The tour included all transfers, great hotels, modern transport, in country flights, and most importantly, extremely competent drivers and qualified guides proficient in English. Their communication with clients was exceptional, providing our detailed itinerary on line for us to access at any time, daily contact via WhatsApp, along with meeting points, names and phone numbers of all drivers and guides in advance. One incident that really demonstrated their support became evident when we arrived in Mumbai...and our luggage did not. To complicate matters, we were flying to Delhi later that day, well before our luggage was to arrive. The staff at INDIA Trotter took all our contact information with the airline and the lost luggage department at the airport and pursued all avenues with them on our behalf, providing a level of support far beyond our expectations with daily updates on progress. I am sure that because of their efforts, our luggage was returned to us as quickly as possible. Airlines could learn a lot from INDIA Trotter with respect to customer service and efficiency. To summarize I would say that INDIA Trotter provided a level of personal comfort throughout the tour with unparalleled communication and support. We never felt that we were on our own while travelling in a foreign country...we had a caring team working with us at all times.

10 Days Wildlife Tour From Mumbai(ALL INCLUSIVE) Tour

10 Days Wildlife Tour From Mumbai(ALL INCLUSIVE)

Wildlife tour from Mumbai and it was an amazing experience. From start to finish, everything was well-organized and taken care of. The tour was all inclusive, meaning all of the accommodations, transportation, and activities were included in the package price. The tour started off with a visit to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, where we got to see a variety of flora and fauna. The park was well-maintained and our guide Mr.Hemender Singh was very knowledgeable about the different species of animals and their habitats. We also got to take a safari ride through the park which was an exciting experience. Next, we visited the Tadoba National Park, which was the highlight of the trip. We were lucky enough to spot a tiger during our safari ride and it was a once in a lifetime experience. The park also had a beautiful lake where we saw a herd of deer drinking water. The park was less crowded compared to other national parks, which made the experience even more special. One of the best parts of the tour was the stay at the Kanha National Park. The accommodation provided was a luxurious jungle resort, and we were surrounded by nature. The staff was extremely hospitable and the food was delicious. The safari rides in the park were also well-organized and we saw a variety of animals including elephants, leopards, and different species of birds. Apart from the national parks, we also got to visit the Elephanta Caves and the Gateway of India in Mumbai, which were both breathtaking. The tour also included a visit to the Kanheri Caves, which were ancient Buddhist caves and a great way to learn about the history and culture of the region. wildlife tour from Mumbai was an unforgettable experience. The tour was well-planned, and we didn't have to worry about anything as everything was taken care of. The tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable, and the accommodations were comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves wildlife and wants to explore the beauty of India. It was truly a trip of a lifetime.

Excellent trip, Operator was very responsive and accommodating. Helped us to manage some changes in the tour itinerary and our flight was booked according to our time preference. Explore the most visiting major cities Delhi And Jaipur as we have already visited Agra by train. Each city has its own specialties but the best and main reason behind coming to india was the wonderful Taj Mahal and it was worth to book the tour. Very happy to visit Delhi and Jaipur and would come again. Thank you for memorable trip
The trip was fabulous and well managed, we were lucky that we finished our India trip in February before this COVID19 crisis. These guys are amazing, and I can easily recommend the company to anyone want to visit India.

Priyadarshini Park and Sports Complex is a clean and well-maintained sea-facing attraction in South Mumbai. Located in one of the sophisticated localities, this Napeansea Road park overlooks many expensive apartments on the street. Every nook and corner of this 20 acres land has now become a powerhouse to keep the heart of Mumbai pumping. For more than 3 decades, this wonderland has served as a recreational site, and sports and fitness complex. Visit here early in the morning to witness the magic of this refuge for the inhabitants of Mumbai.  Also, Mumbaikars do not forget to visit here in the early monsoons to sit on its sea-facing end and seek a delight with the sound of soothing waves. Once, this piece of land was merely a rocky patch of the coastal area of Malabar. What you see today is a gorgeous lush green garden lined up with a total of 600+ coconut trees. With a perfect and well-maintained ambiance, this park is a boon for early morning yoga, jogging, walking, aerobics, and so on. The credit, of course, goes to its active group – the Malabar Hill Citizen Forum, who looks after it as its own child. You can connect with their authorities to be an annual member of the plethora of recreational sports activities that they organize. In addition to pumping the adrenaline of youth with its recreational touch, Priyadarshini Park of Mumbai also serves as an ideal family outing location and a lover’s point. If you are fortunate enough, you may even witness little squirrels accompanying you here for some pleasing views.

Babulnath

Whenever you are visiting Mumbai, Babulnath Shiva temple is a must-visit for inner peace and tranquillity. It is one of the oldest temples in Mumbai, which increases its importance in the eyes of the loyal devotees. Its walls are specially carved with limestone that depicts the Hindu mythology, which travellers find it exciting at the first look. At this temple, the beautiful marble flooring is specially brought down from Rajasthan. Thus, each step you take inside this temple feels royal and enchanting along with the daily devotees you can meet and greet, dressed in Indian attires. So, every moment spent in this temple is blissful with internal peace and devotion. Moreover, you can witness devotees from different corners of the world who love to pay their tribute to Lord Shiva and other idols.Once you enter the holy temple revered by so many Hindus and locals, you can find sculptures and idols of Lord Ganesha, Lord Hanuman, and Nandi with Kashyap. We would also advise you to buy a basket outside the temple steps before entering. This basket will bring joy, happiness and fulfil all your wishes once you pay your heartfelt worship to Shiva and other lords like Durga Mata and Goddess Parvati at the centre of this temple.  If you have any doubts regarding the same, you can always ask devotees around you or the priest to know how to get the prayer done with the basket that you buy.On the other hand, idols of Goddess Parvati and Durga Mata are respectfully placed in the centre of this temple. What’s even more special about this temple is that around 4 times a day, prayers for Lord Shiva are recited here. This temple gets approximately a lakh devotees for Darshan during the Mahashivratri. • MI and CSK will lock horns at the Wankhede stadium on April 14

The MS Dhoni and CSK fan craze has taken over the city of Mumbai ahead of the much-anticipated clash against MI in the IPL 2024 on April 14. Dhoni has once again been grabbing the limelight during the course of the season, as even opposition fans have chanted his name and cheered for the legendary wicketkeeper during the matches so far. CSK reached the city of one of their main rivals in the IPL and the craze for Dhoni and the side completely took over.

CSK posted a video on their official X account showing the travel of the team bus in the city of Mumbai. Fans were seen chasing the bus with their mobile cameras on, in a bid to get the glimpse of their favourtite stars and Dhoni. The bus found it a bit difficult to make it to the ground as the fans had surrounded it in a bid to cheer the players on ahead of their practice sessions. CSK went on to call Wankhede, 'Wankheden' and revealed they were overwhelmed by the support they got.

"The WankheDEN Vibes! Overwhelmed!" said CSK on X.

How every IPL 2024 is a home match for CSK?

Ajinkya Rahane had recently explained how every game feels like a home match for CSK and claimed Dhoni to be the main reason behind it. The India batter also revealed how they have been able to learn from Dhoni as well during the course of the season.

"In a different perspective, when we are travelling everywhere just because of one man, we are playing a home match just because of Mahi Bhai (MS Dhoni). That's a wonderful feeling, obviously. When we are playing with him, so many things you can learn as a cricketer, as a human being, how he conducts himself... Mumbai guys, Maharashtra guys playing in CSK, the atmosphere which we have in the dressing room within the group is fantastic," Rahane said.
